Hey thanks man I appreciate it a lot!!🙏 I’m no expert on mixing but I’m trying to get better with each video, the thing I’ve realised is that controlling your low end so that it’s not too muddy or flumpy is real important so that it doesn’t mask the definition and tightness! But don’t overdo it otherwise the guitars become thin. I hope this helps bro😊

Thanks a lot bro I appreciate it! I use an app called Moises and it’s pretty good - usually removing guitars and bass doesn’t alter the quality of the track too much but if you remove drums / vocals it can affect the quality quite a bit😊

Hey dude, I started playing guitar like 3 months ago. I have an electric but dont know how to distort it to have a metal sound like this. What is the trick? The Amp? Everytime I google it I can't get a straight answer
Hey man yeah it’ll be your amp that gives you the distorted metal tone - Your pickups will be the “ voice “ of your sound, but it’ll be your amp ( and the addition of pedals for extra gain / tightness ) that will give you the high gain metal sound! Just crank the “ gain “ setting up. I hope this helps bro😊

that was speedy. i swear i need to just get a 7 string again. making sixes work for F# and G range just doesnt do it for me. A# seems to be the cutoff for me on the 6's.
Thank you bro!🙏 Yeah I feel you on that, I think the main thing is the scale length of the guitar. Mine is only 25.5 which isn’t actually that high, I use a pitch shifter for anything past Bb standard / Drop G#

Hey man I don’t know the real name of it but it’s when you bar all strings on a harmonic fret ( in the song it was the 3rd fret ) and you do a backwards sweep, it sounds really cool!😝

Yeah man he does! After experimenting with the song a bit there were quite a few parts that made a lot more sense to be played in drop A so I just stuck with that😊
You played this in Drop A? I thought these guys played in A standard.

Hey man yeah I learned it in drop A because there are quite a few parts like the full chords in the chorus which seemed almost impossible to play in standard! I could’ve interpreted it wrong though, because I know they often use A standard😊

@@zizizmer I'm a pure listener and I usually can never tell the difference between drops and standards. I'm not roasting you, I legit thought they maybe changed to drop A. Idk. You got schizophrenic bands like Ice Nine Kills that use drop C# to drop B/B standard, drop A, drop A#, drop G and G#. Makes my head spin.
I usually try play it in standard and decide whether it makes more sense to play in drop tuning or not😊 Hahaha yeahh it really makes my head spin too bro, that’s when a droptune pedal really comes in useful and saves a lot of time tuning😂

Hey man it’s a cover, I record my guitar parts through an interface going into my DAW, there’s no phone audio in the video whatsoever😊

@@charleschi843 I use an app to mute the guitars in the original track and record my guitar parts over it, I then “ glue “ it all together in the mix and it binds the whole thing together nicely😊
