Stanshawe, Stanshawe (Bristol), Sun Life Stanshawe, and Sun Life Band are the same band but at different times of their history.
The band was formed in 1968 and disbanded in 1997.
So, "The light that burns the brightness burns the shortest."

Jack Hansen conducted us in 1977. Won the C grade championships in Wagga Wagga. Legendary.

@ianperks3167: Agree. It has enough of a technical challenge, but is a great piece for the listener. Should be more people in the hall when this is played in Cheltenham in September.

Played this with the Marong Municipal (Hopetoun) Brass Band at the 1986 National Brass Band Championships held in Adelaide. We came third in C grade Own Choice with 79 points.
