Dan's Jet Testbed (v2)

RAMS member Daniel (Dan) Gregory is an engineer and inventor. Just lately he is investigating the electric ducted fan that he intends to incorporate in an airframe that he has designed. To test the engine's characteristics Dan has mounted the fan to a very large "Big/Ugly Stick" airframe. The fan produces about 10lbs of thrust and the sound of the high velocity air-jet overwhelms any motor noise; when in flight the plane can easily be mistaken for one that is being powered by a fuel burning turbine engine.
