True. I was not a fan of them in the original and actually really liked he and Sam but as they've gotten older they have brought more of Carly's character out rather than her just being the leading lady that little girls could project onto and I think they work so much better now.

I'm actually feeling the exact opposite! As kids, I wanted them to end up together. When Freddie and Sam started dating, I was so mad that I literally stopped watching the show. Now, for some reason, I just don't see Freddie and Carly together. Seems weird now.

I wasn't a huge fan of iCarly when I was a kid but now, I'm somewhat glad that it came back.
There is a lot of history between Carly and Freddie 10 years in the making
I have a deep rooted feeling that Freddie's first marriage, before when he met Millicent's mom, was Sam. Cause he only ever specified details about his second marriage but not his first.
Can be a possibility since theyve reconnected in Sam&Cat
I feel like they’d talk about it more since they’re so close knit together as friends
I don't see how or why it matters because they're not together anymore. If it was a possibility that both ships could happen, I think they'd do that.
