So some more tips. 1.) Don't fight tired. It leads to mistakes and bad decisions, especially once decision fatigue sets in. This can get you killed rather quickly. Reaction times are dulled, bad planning, and so on. 2.) Fight from hard cover. Use your leans. Reposition and rotate. Use choke points and fatal funnels (doorways and halls) to your advantage. Avoid fighting out in the open. When the Devs say "Every move matters" that adage is very true. Move well or die. That's how you shoot, that's how you reposition, that's how you peak. Every action.
My biggest tipp for solos is to always reposition. And if u get shot at by ai dont turn around and try to fight them instead run into cover and then fight.
O yea repositioning and moving is prime unless you are let out on the middle of nowhere, the amount of times I’ve died running away into an open field because there was no cover I’ve recently started just taking my chances if there is no where to run because I’m gonna die anyways
@@Robaldeenyo what if you are fighting a group, more than 2 mags couldn’t hurt and you find so many of them so why not just grab them and use them then drop them🤷🏾♂️
When stripping a gun, if you have a big enough bag just take off the pistol grip and remove the mag. You can carry 4 or 5 rifles that way, they break down to like 4 or 5 by 1 square.
Yea that is true, I only do the stock because I like to keep some of them for use and don’t want to have to buy everything. I should start doing the mag n grip and jus keep the grip n stock!
Once that dev video came out about how the AI "think", I've done much better. I play mostly Solo and simply never shooting more than a few seconds from the same corner / cover has changed everything. Sure you get one shot sometimes, but my standard movement now is try to get a pick or 2 from 1 side of the cover, move / reload while moving to the other side, move to the next building / cover fire from there. Maybe return to the first place, shoot again, etc. Staying in one place, or bunkering down in a corner/bathroom... I would get "chased" into a position like that pretty often in my first few hours because I'd just sit in a backyard, running from one side of the building to the other. Eventually they'll all slowly converge until you're stuck and theyll just throw bodies at you until they catch you reloading or healing, etc.
@@movieklip755 yea I do that in games like squad and HLL but that’s against other players. Havnt had the privilege of playing this game yet so idk the ai may be aimbotting regardless lol
@@NotThatGuyPal. well you are actually right in theory that how the dev explain it But also at the same time it greatly depends because it’s based off where they last saw you and they spray in the general vicinity
Can I suggest getting rid of your FMJs and go for AP rounds instead. Also get higher capacity mags and a maximum of 4 mags but plenty of spare rounds. Build a short barrel M4 carbine with the best attachments for lowest recoil. Then you will have a great handling weapon that you can easily replace and at the same time mow down enemies at close range at burst and long range at single. Good tips!
I don’t have higher capacity mags lmao I’m working on the vendors, recoil isn’t really an issue honestly and I bring more mags so I don’t have to remember to fill them as often I can always drop them. That is very true though I’ve been doing more long barrel 545 I have to try 556 with short barrel for close range!
@@movieklip755 With the AP rounds and the M4 Carbine with reddot sight, I can take out AI at range by controlling the breathing with the left ALT key. Having a 4K monitor and resolution helps as well. So far most of my long range kills are just using the carbine and controlling the breathing head shots. But when those AI come ramming in, I'll change my position and once they get close, a quick burst of AP rounds will always take them down even if they have full metal plate armor. Once you level up you should be able to purchase AP rounds, higher capacity mags from Gunny.
@@weeliano yea that’s why I’m leveling them, there is multiple situations where just controlling your breathing wasn’t enough for me and I also think it’s server related because I’ve hit headshots seen the blood come out watched them flinch with no armor and not die. I’ve been doing perfectly fine Iin the game that partially why I’m making tip video. The only true issue I’ve been having is getting randomly 1 tapped through armor but that also hasn’t been happening to much anymore just gotta play the correct position and keep moving.
My personal best tips as a solo : Take your time, check every corner & do not STRESS. ---> It might take your 10-15 minutes to clear an arena compared to 2-5 minutes with a squad but its better to be safe then sorry and always make sure to pop yourself a painkiller before engaging in case you case get sprayed down & survive.
Yep. Plus, the 10-15 minutes to clear an area is faster than dying 5 min in, flying back in, trying to get bck to you body, etc. My first YBL run was like an hour. I died like 3 times but was able to get to my body and loot it before each death luckily. I also didn't know it was glitched so I was spending half the time checking my back / trying to figure out where the AI was yelling at me from lol
for the most part they say aimless things, sometimes they will call the direction you are related to the ai location and yo I are able to get a general area on where they are. They also call you a pussy and a baby🤣🤣call and tell you to “come out” when they know yo iare there but lost your precise location
So how is it going for you as a solo?
Good
There's definitely some npcs that need tweaking detection wise, but overall doing this solo is pretty fun. Would be more fun with a duo I think

Another thing, AI tend to do suppresing fire on your last seen position, so repositioning is a big thing to do not just in solo
