This game deserves all the sales in the world. Best local multiplayer game (not made by Nintendo) I’ve played in a decade! This, and Overcooked 1, are the only games my non gaming girlfriend has ever gotten into that doesn’t involve Mario or DK in some way. I love it.
They have covered a good portion of meals in this game already but I have a few other ideas. You could have a DLC with Pie, maybe for fall. Chop pumpkin or apple, knead the dough, cook. Ice cream could be a topping for the pie like whip cream is.
@@RichardHannay just remember that the scores scale with player count. So if coordination is lacking then playing as single player might actually make it easier. Too many cooks spoil the broth. Edit: Actually they all seem to be amateurs seeing how they don't notice which order goes first...
@@RichardHannay that is not true, there is a difference of skill level. The base game is pretty large, and scales depending on how far you go, starting super easy and ending medium difficulty. Then there are the small paid DLCs. These are from beginning to end really challenging having a high difficulty. Then there are the free DLCs which are pretty short in comparison and only have easy to medium difficulty. Since we never had a big paid DLC before i couldn't know beforehand how they would handle these but after playing it i can confirm that the big DLC starts of with easy difficulty and gets harder till the end. Most of the late stages are on medium difficulty while some also can have high difficulty. So in conclusion, no not all DLC stages ask for super high scores, and in regards to the comment you answered, especially not the first level.
every score that is asked in the game is possible. it might of course not be possible to achieve by every human that plays this game, but it is definitely possible. the real challenge comes when you try to get the 4th star, 3 stars is actually pretty achievable in most of the levels
Overcooked, the time management game (for most mainstream systems) that took the gaming community by storm with its cute avatar options; quirky, cartoonish 3-D art style; and all of the facepalm moments of "friendly fire" en route to making dishes on a time crunch.
I get what you are saying but I feel they did this on purpose. There aren't many people who would pay for it but this way, there is more incentive for newer players to get the game.
@@marialopes3510 yes, I do get that it's for the money, it just kind of sucks for the lot that got the Season Pass and got slapped on the face with this, not being part of it.
@@NinjarioPicmin Is it? Good! Yesterday that I checked it on the e-shop it was listed as it's own thing, and the second course was still marked as "coming soon". Those are fantastic news!
@@elcheshireilustracion9396 i don't know about the eShop but i bought the season pass long ago and i could play the dlc immediately when booting up the game. also i believe they said in their roadmap back then that the 8.99 dlc was going to be released in june and i don't think they are going to release 2 big dlcs in june

This game is so good but the DLC stages are so damn impossible to get 3 stars on!

It's hard to tell what's going on...lol
Yay!
As much as I love Overcooked, I feel like Ghost Town Games doesn´t know what a Season Pass is.
