I like the tip to copy the 4 files from your existing one so all of your setup is already done. Already created another profile that I can now run MP finally again. Already knew how to change the profile name so this made the whole thing a lot easer. Thanks FTG.
When I click on profiles in the ATS folders it doesn't show anything in there. I have a profile in game too that I just started so I don't know how to proceed.

Once I get to the load profile screen it doesn’t let me click continue. It says “This save depends on at least one required DLC or MOD. You need to fix the problem before you can load this save.” I tried to bypass as per the video however the “continue” button is not clickable. The only clickable button is “abort loading.” I’ve repeated process several times, disabled steam cloud on other profile, and yet problem still exist. I even had one of the listed DLCs already (Oregon) however it still won’t load. Everything works as far as process and the profile loads and shows up with stats (garages, explored % etc) it simply wont let me click the continue button, it’s just a dead button. Any ideas where I went wrong or what happened?
So basically what happened is you downloaded a profile where the guy that created it had DLC. To get it to work, you'll have to have the DLC it's dependent upon. You can either buy it or go download another one.

The following reasons …. Blah blah blah … 1. Incompatible with some of currently installed MOD(s) … I have none btw 2. The save game contains information from MOD(s) which is missing or disabled … 3. The save game was corrupted by use of a poorly made mod. 4. Pc crashed during or shortly after the saving process of the file. ALSO it says before it crashes MISSING MOD detected. The latest save contains dependencies on a missing or disabled MOD(s) Otherwise you might try loading the save anyways HOWEVER, depending on what the MOD(s) did , it is possible it may fail to load or cause other problems. MISSING MOD NO DAMAGE … I’ve installed every variant of that mod I could find and tried to run it but it won’t give me anything but load game crash messages please help 😞😞😞

Make sure your in your profile when you go to edit it, make sure the steam cloud is turned off

And if that guy had virus on pc and you install the folder cann you also have virus ? idk is it safe to install from other people ?
It’s an .scs file not an executable program. These are simple zip files. Don’t know why people freak out over them.

Yes Joel.. It's exactly the same. The folder just says ETS2 instead of american truck sim.
