My daughter was a student ambassador, she did one years it a lot of work, plus balancing school work. It’s a lot of events that she had to go to and meeting.

Or, I was to comment on that volunteering job. Don't even entertain not even in January. When you graduate you will get jobs. What I would advise you to do is to apply to those top accounting firm as internship, you will be paid, plus get the experience. They ususally take you on full-time on completion. All the best for the future

The one thing I would share is, going forward bow out respectfully as expeditiously as possible via written or verbal communication if you recognize things are becoming overwhelming . Whether it’s a class, voluntary endeavor or other commitment it is better to show your reputability by being upfront rather than to be asked or told to leave.
