Yeah I totally agree. The engines should be painted separately. I was wondering how you got those masked off to paint them and when you said they were nightmare. I agree that's what I figured. The one thing I think I would do for my base is get a picture of a star field so it looks like it's flying in space.

Very well painted. I would love to 3D print model kits of the Viper Mark II. If you find the Mark III or Galactica, be so kind Sir, well done with this.

I'm definitely not into static models but I enjoyed the video nonetheless. I picked up some very useful tips that can be applied to RC models.......thanks for sharing.

Thanks! I plan on having a mix of R/C projects, plastic models and maybe even R/C airplanes. I will always try to get building tips in that crossover and are useful no matter what you are building.

I did start and own a hobby store in Lynnwood, WA for many years (Galaxy Hobby) then I worked for Horizon Hobby for a bit. Now retired and getting to build again. HEMTT is on the list. Need to finish the Tiger 1 Tank build then back to the HEMTT (and a few other projects).

"Bob" I finally know your name. What IPMS chapter do you go to?

Boise, Idaho. Figured I should use my name in the videos. Hopefully I will get better at this as time goes on!

Hi Bob, you finished that model in 2 days where it'd take me a few weeks to get it done. I made a tamiya spitfire for my dad last year and it took me months to finish.

Does help to have a good model building area all set up! Plus I really wanted to see if I could get it done quickly.

Excellent build but did you forget to do the white topcoat?
