Still cheaper than Serge Lutens. You get 4 eyeshadows for $140 and they are usually sold out. I bought one of the quads to compare to PM and ND...it's good, but not $140 for 4 shades good.

Drugstore eyeshadow palettes have really stepped up their game, and there is no need to pay the ridiculous amount for the brands that you are suggesting. Most of us are on a budget and certainly are not gonna splurge on some thing like eyeshadow when we would rather pay our bills.
I hate to say it but you’re so right! The indie eyeshadow market is where it’s at. Sydney Grace’s palettes are better (quality) than PMG and it’s less than half the cost of a Mother Ship palette.
There’s absolutely no reason to pay the outrageous price tag for “luxury “ brand eyeshadows when you can buy better quality ones for a fraction of the cost. ❤

Idk almost every eyeshadow i've tried from drug stores were simply not good. I only have one from colour pop and elf that i like, but the elf is too small. Then i have others from more expensive brands which i really liked as well. Still, i rather spend my money on quality over quantity, y'know? Is just my choice but i do get your point.
I'm not on the budget and I wouldn't splurge on a palette. And Denona formula is nothing special, at least not for me
some people want to invest in nice pallets. yes, it’s expensive but there isn’t “no need” to splurge. most drugstore eyeshadows are chalky and dry, even tho there are some good drugstore eyeshadows it’s okay if people want to buy more expensive makeup and have that in their budget

I was going to say- I guess she hasn’t tried many indie eyeshadows. I’ve seen a lot of Gurus agree that Sydney Grace is just as good- if not better quality than PMG. I own palettes by both and I like the SG better❣️❤️
I find the ND my dream palette is my favorite go to everyday palette. I'm in love with it.
I didn’t care for the Glam palette, but her Gold, & Bronze are HGs for me. Pat McGrath Divine Roses 1 and 2 are amazing, those special shades are unbelievable, to me, anyway. I even use those special shades with my singles from SG. Love!

Broooo that Nabla Side by Side palette is in my top 5 all time. I use it at least once a week and always get compliments on my eyes. And their lip pencils and glosses are just *chefs kiss*. What an underrated company.
I have Nabla Cutie Berry palette and it's so good, especially that one peachy shimmery clay-like shade, it looks so good.

I have a lot of eyeshadow palettes, especially for someone who doesn’t do any social media. The ND glam palette it’s definitely one of my top 3 favorites also, & within the last month I’ve been reminded of how much I love the Huda Mercury retrograde palette. I’m having trouble deciding on what other palette to pick because there are at least 5 I would have to choose from lol.

Thank you for admitting how many eyeshadow palettes you actually have, like actually putting a number instead of saying I know nobody needs this much but this is my job...because I'm not even doing this for a living and I have that many eyeshadow palettes still. I don't know why I'm doing this but I am addicted this is my addiction. And sadly, it's not just eyeshadows it's every single category.😢 I don't even wear enough makeup to justify owning as much as I do so I'm trying to slam it on as much as I can just for no reason. Makeup playtime has to start becoming more of a thing so I can start going through my makeup. I'm not even sure what I have half the time because you can't see every bit of it. I did have a time when I displayed at all on my walls by putting Velcro on the back of stuff and just about growing them to these cool decorative boards that I had. But there's just too much now.
I'm embarrassed, but I also really love my makeup collection LOL.
I have to edit to add that we have a lot of the same makeup. I don't have the biba palette, I wanted it but I can't spend that much and I don't want any Pat McGrath because I just think it's too expensive and there's probably products from Nomad, Oden's Eye, Glamlite, Unearthly, all of those kinds of other companies that are indie that are just as good if not better. And they definitely costless even though I wouldn't call them necessarily affordable or drug store at all. Maybe when there are/down because they're discontinued. I will buy the Natasha denona midi pallets but the big ones, I just can't justify it and I have so many 5 pans and quads that I never break out, don't even get me started on the thousand of singles that I probably have. I think I have five Natasha denona midsize pallets and I almost never use them because I'll opt for something from colour-pop or whatever's just in front of my face instead. I've been getting to wear at night the night before I start going through my makeup and actually pulling things out to go with whatever I'm going to wear the next day which is so extra for me...😊
i know what you mean, I have been there! at some point, I got too overwhelmed, and decided to cut it down. i decluttered all expired liquids and creams - which hurted my wallet's heart to see all the cash in the bin. now i try not to have too many cream items so i'm able to go through more of it before going bad.
also, seeing some make up that i love not getting the use that i'd like just because i'm using other stuff, was overwhelming me aswell, so i gave away like half of what i owned to friends. somehow, knowing that things are being enjoyed justifies the cash i spent on them, rather than letting them go to waste with time.
im not judjamental, it's only the process i've been through, and still am - i cant help wanting new stuff although i own enough for a couple of lifetimes!😅

The ND Biba crumbled on me TWICE. the colors are ok, but I wasn’t going to keep a $130 palette when it kept falling apart.
I got my Huda palettes for like $30 in a sale and they’re bomb and the colours are so much better☠️

I love quality of ND’s eyeshadows but the problem is most of her eyeshadows are too warm and orangey for my skin tone. The only last two released palettes are cool toned. The same with PML, but her mothership I is my favorite and I can use it some of her eyeshadows in this palette. But it’s okay I don’t need them all. 🙌❤️

I do love the richness, blendability and longevity I get from a great formula, but am trying to whittle down my eyeshadow collection. I found I had no trouble parting with some PML and ND palettes. But my beloved indie singles....couldn't even let go of 10% of them. As of today I'd say my top palette is all my green singles. Matte, shimmer, multichrome... if it's green, especially yellowy green, it's my top.

I’m justifying Natasha biba as my Christmas gift to myself!!!! I have a mini of hers in the electric blue and purple SOOOO GOOD! I’m sad it’s kinda of expired and they’re not my everyday shades!!! But I literally felt like a professional makeup artist from how easy they blended and worked for me !!!!😂😂❤❤
ND love palette used to be my number one.. But after I got some plouise palettes I converted as the quality is way way better especially the metallics 😍 and now I feel that there is no brand that is better than those of plouise

Right! There are too many amazing indie eyeshadows that are a fraction of the price of ND or PMG. I have an eyeshadow palette by Sydney Grace and it’s better than the PMG that I tossed my cash for. There’s no reason to spend that kind of bread when there’s better quality for a fraction of the price. ❤
I have a palate with 125 eyeshadows and all of them are neutral or pinkish eye shadows with glitters as well

You know Morgan I broke down and finally got HB rose quartz yesterday because it’s half off at sephora. I decided to pass on empowered. I did have biba or glam yet and for sure glam is the next one I’m buying. As far as PM I think I’m going to go with the one Mel T loved-mothership 5 bronze seduction. I think with my age those colors are a little more wearable. I got rose quartz because I remembered how much you liked it when it came out. See I told you I like pinks/purples. Just not that ND love face palette pink. LOL

No, of course you don't throw them away. Use them until they start smelling, dry out or the texture is weird. And ALWAYS practice good hand hygiene before touching any cosmetic/ skin are product

There are only a few palettes in her entire collection that aren’t absolutely beautiful. The mattes are incredibly creamy and highly pigmented, blend like a dream, and there’s virtually no fallout. And then there’s the metallics and special shades like the shimmers and multi chromes.. they’re stunning. And the fact that you’re comparing the quality to a *dollar store* brand is beyond laughable, and shows how little you truly know.
I really wish she'd make a midi biba palette. I want it so bad but it's definitely out of my price range 😭
There's a 5 color Mini Biba. Colors are slightly different from Biba, but it works as a Biba extension and fits the shade ranges. It sells out quite often, but it could've been restocked...

Of course it is all about personal preference as everyone is different..but I have 3 Natasha pals and they preform no better than my colourpop

I loved the colour story of the glam pallete but the shimmers were dry and had barely any pigment. My colourpop supeshocks were better and they weren't $100* + AUD
Just out of curiosity, did you try wetting your brush or applying them w your finger? I only ask because I normally use them dry w a flat shader, when I'm going for a more everyday, slightly beefed up casual look, but every now and then when I wanna feel extra I use a wet brush or my finger they just pop and get super shiny. Maybe that will help? But also I have to agree w you on how great the Super Shock eyeshadows. I have a few of those and they're just a party on my eyes lol

I own both. The formulas are different but I personally prefer the Anastasia formula. Also- with so many indie brands making better quality eyeshadows for a fraction of the price? There’s no reason to pay the luxury price tag❣️❤️

Okay, hot take. I know a lot of people are like why do your favorite Palace have to be so expensive? I'm wondering if these are affiliates where she gets a good commission and that may be why the most expensive ones are here. It could also be that the product is way better quality than some of her other stuff. I feel that Pat McGrath is really overrated when it comes to like the color schemes and the thing I think is the coolest is the outer packaging that's about it. I'm really excited to see what the new nomad Cosmetics pallets about to be.

You can get the Alter Ego Shadow Kiss palette, which is a very good dupe for the Glam palette, for $18. I own the Glam palette, which is my ride or die, and my sister has the Shadow Kiss palette so we each tested them both (one eye w ND, the other w AE) for a full day, just to see how they do on different skin types, and Shadow Kiss performs almost as well as the ND one. Nothing can truly beat the ND formula, which is seriously top notch, but if you want the look and don't want to spend the cash go w Alter Ego.

Natasha Denona regularly sells out her 28 pan $250 Green/Brown palette...I still remember people paying $200 for Pat Mcgrath's Mothership IIII because it was sold out for ages. Serge Lutens also sells out of his eyeshadows...it's 4 shades for $145.
You definitely do not always get what you pay for. There's so many insanely good eyeshadows out there from tiny indie brands for like five dollars with a formula 10 times better than what you get from high end brands.
If I recall correctly, her pallets are upwards of $100 or more. No thanks. I'm good with my color pop (get way more than what I pay for) and urban decay (get what i pay for). Also I get some pretty good pallets from random brands through ipsy.
Oh no no colour-pop is the all-time best they do the best job at definitely their eye shadows but they have the little eyeshadow pots that are individual oh my gosh they are the prettiest thing I've ever saw in the world
colorpop super shocks are great but theyre 7 dollars each, 7 x 15 is 105$. Its literally more expensive then the natasha glam palette in the end loll

Hi there!! I'm a subscriber and follower for a long time now.. I've wanted to email you but can't find a contact. I work with shelters, and teens in foster /group homes to transitional housing. Aswell as a non profit organization Days For Girls. I would love to have a opportunity to buy pigments/ palettes, lippies in all kinds once it hits the toss date. I can upcycle the pigments into art supplies for therapy. And all lip items I sanitize depot, and make batches of new for my huge amount of outreach and humanitarian work. Please let me know if you will be willing to sell boxes once you do a cleanout, i will obviously cover all shipping costs, and pay you as well. Hope to hear back. If not I completely respect your choice. Worth a shot as the pigments I turn into custom paints, slimes, tons of other uses.

I've been doing makeup for over 20 years and all the mother ship palettes have been ABSOLUTE garbage. The kick back, the patchy inconsistent lacking pigments, the wear is terrible... The perfect example of price DOESN'T equal quality.
DC is incredible quality.
