    I'm finally catching up on this epic work on your Husq belly pan. Your effort and attention to detail is an inspiration, and that is quite apart from the fact that I have learnt so much over the years through your channel. Your written thought at the start of the video speaks loudly, and whilst it is personal for us all, it also is a fine thought when looking after our bikes too, (but you knew that didn't you?). My bike will thank you after 18 years, and 87,000 miles of her life. Thank you for your contribution in so many positive ways and I wish you both health and happiness in your lives. Thank you

    • @Moonfleet41
      @Moonfleet41  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yeah I've noticed that bruv, but when you see it in the flesh it actually isn't any form of groove, or imperfection... what it is is simply a crease down the centre where the entire front of the panel is fractionally folded towards itself, the two halves of the mould were screwed together just a little tighter than they needed to be, and that flexed the two halves very slightly away from each other giving the front of the panel that visible fold when there's a shadow across it... and as an accidental benefit it totally matches the front mud guard that has a crease right down the middle in the same way! Happy accidents aye?!

    Good points about the vent hole, however, you can always put a piece of mesh effect self adhesive vinyl sheet on there after it`s painted, then coat it all in clear coat, or laquer.

    Wow It came out stunning!!!
    Yes, air flow on the bottom of the engine is part of the air cooling mechanism, and blocking the flow will result some temperature to increase in the bottom engine. The part is very invested anyway, I would add air intakes from the side, or open front openings on both sides (not in front of the tire).

    I think that's a genuinely great first effort in a tricky medium, it looks stylistically right on the bike and enhances it, shame the knockers didn't take a look at the butt ugly after market belly pans available for this model before choosing to take the proverbial out of your work. Well done Sir, stay well

    MATT from THE WORKSHOP accepted a challenge to better something 'the ordinary' Allen Millyards builds, he also made a challenge on his own channel to show us how Del should've made cables.
    I challenge him 'The Narcissistic Engineer' with all his expertise in all areas of engineering processes and his engineering prowess to make a belly pan to compete with this. Go on Matt show all your rimmers how it should be done, oh and I will be watching.
    I say this here because no one will ever believe this, not only has he deleted my comments, lied about me on his vids, but honored me with, 'blocking me from his channel' to be blocked is an EPIC Victory don't you think? I wear it with pride. lol.

This year we have lost two very dear personal friends, one to a horrific bike accident, and the other to a terrible illness, plus of course my recent Heart Attack and Penny's recent knee surgery playing large in our lives... this has given us great clarity on life and negative things just don't feature anymore, there's no peace to be found in it and life truly is too short to fixate on negative people, don't you think?

    Hello and greetings from Sweden. Enjoy your work and diversity in projects, like it. Also please tell me what music you are playing when spraying the bellypan, really like it and would like to listen to it as well when doing garage-time.
    Take care!!
