We live about an hour outside London (not too far from the Cotswolds), they live (together) in London. Off to Singapore and Bali (where I expect we'll meet a few Aussie's!) with them in a few weeks. Gonna watch a few more....
More than a few villages in the Cotswolds… it’s a very large area, and there are a couple of towns and cities on the edge as well - Gloucester, Cirencester and Bradford-on-Avon.

Wensleydale is quite a sour cheese. It’s an acquired taste. I prefer a creamy blue Stilton (to die for), Somerset Brie or Godminster truffle cheddar, which are all outstanding. Also, certain Cornish cheddars are insanely delicious.

I actually never thought of visiting the UK - always thought it was over hyped. But those villages..... you may have just made me a new goal list too haha! Don't rush back to freezing AUS. Its like 10 during the day and -2 in the morning (Melb) :( xx

I am curious though, how do you know what hotels or air b&bs to book? Like how do you know it’s a reputable source? That’s my fear of traveling to other countries.
We use booking.com and always pick the one with the most reviews. You can read the reviews as well and people are very honest in them. But the more reviews the more legit. I hope this helps ☺️
