Omg I had the original zoom g1x back in 06. Just so good to fiddle around with. No one expected heavy distortion with a 25ms delay. Literally the secret to my tone... in 06 lol
I’ve had this for over a year, and only just started messing with it. Lol. I have other pedals that I’ve been using instead, but I’m forcing myself to try this. One thing I found is that when I run the looper, it never seamlessly goes back to the beginning. There is always a pause when it loops back to the start. However, I’ve now watched two videos (including yours) and you guys both ran the drums first and it didn’t have that problem. Even when you turned the drums off after. I’m gonna have to try it with the drums on, at least at first, and see if that solves the problem, or if my pedal is just busted. If it is a bug in the system, that’s pretty annoying.
You can also use a DC 5 V android charger. I use one as appose to battery’s or a DC 9 V adapter. It’s pretty handy. I just got mine today and have been mucking around with it. It sounds pretty good and has quite a few effects on it.
Hey there. I am going to buy this one effects processor its great! Just tell me one thing. I have an audio interface as well. So what cables should I use to get good recording output in my daw? I mean which kind of cable (TS or TRS) from guitar to processor input and which cable(TS or TRS) for processor output to audio interface input.. ?
Hi, everytime i wanna play to a backing track with a zoom it sounds like garbage... Not usable... Is it not possible to add a backing track from a smartphone...? Do i really need laptop to get it work properly...?
I have a very important question that I need to know, does it prevent gap? Like if you delay in milliseconds it will automatically do the timing perfectly?
@@bidikei7854 in theory.. but it would take a longgggg time to be able to tell, maybe like an hour or more. Even if you’re off more than a millisecond it’s not very noticeable. It hasn’t been an issue, and if your off too much just start over. There’s nothing built on to line it up perfect tho.
@@JRESHOW I see, because I’m about to buy a mooer groove loop x2 where it automatically adjusts the loop to the perfect beat and the music is embedded to the drum beat so they loop together. Unlike with my mooer ge-100, when I loop it the drum and the music don’t stitch so they go separate ways after around 15 minutes.
How do you like it a year later? I bought and sold the G1Xon twice. Loved the idea, didn't most of the sounds (the modulations were good), found the 30 seconds of looping too short and hated the count-in for the looper and drums. That said, I'd like a couple of pedals, and this is great value for money. So I'm looking again.... Third time? I must be mad...
Hey great demo! When I tried to go into distortion after I recorded a clean loop, it started to play back the clean loop I’d recorded with the distortion. Was wondering how you managed to do it here, or if there’s a setting I missed
After you record your loop, you have to use the numbers 1-5 to find your next effect you want to use, once you hit one of the numbers 1-5, you can then use the 2 bigger foot pedals to dial in the which effect you want, once you have your effect selected you have to press the looper button again before you hit the start loop again… I hope this makes sense lol.
I just don’t want to be constantly bending down to twirl knobs and press soft buttons. Sheesh. I’d pay more to have a remote control panel I can mount on a mic stand.
yeah I would only use it to practice but even then it's iffy because you should practice and get used to doing things you could use for performing, if that's the route you're going down, rather than get used to something you wouldn't be able to use.
This video should be called 'My right foot'
😂

That’s one hilarious big toe 😂
If you ever break it you’re gonna have to call a Toe truck.

I laughed way to hard at that cheesy joke😂

Oh he uses baandlab😊
Very informative, thank you random foot man!
🤙🏼
your hard work is commendable. good job buddy
Thank you! 😊
Omg it took me too long to figure you were playing the scientist by Coldplay I frickin love that song
In his defense, I have one of these and with shoes on, it is really hard to be accurate when pressing buttons with how small the unit is.
Thanks for the visual😂

Its very easy to make that mistake but you can finish the loops without the pause and no drums. Helps me to count and try to hit right on 1.
I'm exactly the same I bought it last year and it took me until yesterday for me to use it properly...
Thanks. Looks like a good prime day find!
im literally browsing pedal reviews right now for the same haha
Same here lmao

The hardest thing to get used to would be playing gigs with only one shoe.
💯💯💯💯
How do I make my zoom g1x4 sound like an organ?
Hi, everytime i wanna play to a backing track with a zoom it sounds like garbage... Not usable... Is it not possible to add a backing track from a smartphone...? Do i really need laptop to get it work properly...?
Sounds like a problem with your smartphone. How/why would the zoom know or care which device your input came from? What exactly is the problem?
Is it worth to buy in 2024 December as beginner ? Or please suggest any other model in similar price range.
Only one I have… is it worth it to you? Then yes :)
Nice cover of Toeplay
Could you do all this controlling with shoes or boots on ?
I can hit the start/stop and go up and down in effects, but I can’t get the smaller buttons with shoes on. No way.
I have a very important question that I need to know, does it prevent gap? Like if you delay in milliseconds it will automatically do the timing perfectly?
No
@@JRESHOW so when you loop with rhythm and you have a milliseconds gap then it will go out of sync over time?

I have the boss Rc 505 mk2 now. I use it still for effects on guitar…
is it ok if your guitar is acoustic and use this peds?
Yes
awesome nice .do you know how i can delete some patches i dont want??? cant find info anywhere
I believe there’s another 2 part tutorial on TH-cam that goes over how to edit patches/ delete/ move
Can you use it on stomp mode?
Can I use micro usb charger for powering the pedal?
Is it the rhythm drum can make fill drum or end drum?
Same question
The unit is about a foot long with fairly good toen.
Hi man, does the pedal got the effect to detune the guitar (to change the key from e to d for example)?
Good video. But maybe it's my headphones. Is there one or two strings on that guitar that are out of tune? I can just hear it!
Most likely.
Thank you.
I’ll have to watch a few more times on the looping.
I wish there was a transcript. Lol
Can I use for flute
I’m sure you could rig it up that way… how would you connect it to your flute? Microphone?
Question. About your keyboard, have you connect it to the pedal or does it take the sound from a kind of micro? Thanks
I just unplug the 1/4 cord from guitar and plug right into keyboard..
You could also use a foot switch to switch between guitar and keyboard.
Toe's very effective on pedal buttons 😊😊
Great video! Thanks!
nice review..but how did you connect both the keyboard and your guitar, to be able to loop both?
Both weren’t hooked up at same time. I had plugged into keyboard at first and made 2 loops, then just unplugged at plugged into guitar.
@@JRESHOW thks
Ooh okay. I was like how is that happening
Is this processor good for stage programme?
nope! sounds robotic. better to get boss me series

This guy does a great detail video too - th-cam.com/video/T686vo6zoI0/w-d-xo.html
You can choose whether the recorded loop is before or after the effects.
where's my pick? i don't know

Also it has to be used bare foot,I think, shoes will not work.
I dig it🎉

Toe bad bro that’s the only way I can jam. 😂
Figures..doesn't really have drum fills..
Great for toe Jam sessions
But you hv to hv really strong

But with your feet I dont see much options. Imagine pressing those small buttons with shoes on

Yeah but this is totally impractical. You have ti constantly bend down to be precise with your selection.
