@@TJWatsonMusic Keep smiling brother this was the most badass video I've ever seen. Remember us when this hits millions cause the real instrument sound was awesome especially for this song!!
A lot of N64 games implemented country and bluegrass music into the soundtracks for some reason. Probably because: 1. It was really hard to pull it off pre-N64 2. It's a great way to convey a lighthearted sense of energy May I suggest you do a song from the Banjo-Kazooie soundtrack next?
i searched for "slider live" and the first ten videos wer orchestras. this was the first one that came even close to its original bluegrass tone. well done.
This is a really fantastic rendition. I mean. It's great! The instrument selection is on point. The rendition is fantastic. It's got a lot of great energy to it, and it sounds unique. The performance, is damn near flawless. I have absolutely no doubt in my mind, that this is the most underrated live rendition of a retro video game song ever. And, it should get a lot more recognition, than it apparently has. You sir, have no shame in your game.
This is the most accurate representation of the song I imagine when I think of it being remastered with real instruments. I think a fiddle would fit right in as well, but that Harmonica goes so damn hard. Great job!
No offense but are you deaf? The most iconic part of the song - the whistling is almost completely devoid in this song. This is not even remotely of what a remaster would sound like.
Oh this is phenomenal! Sometimes being a content treasure hunter of sorts has its perks when I find stuff like this! Seriously if Nintendo if and it's a big *IF* they truly remaster Super Mario 64 with at least Smash Bros. Brawl quality or Unreal Engine at it's most pinnacle, I expect to hear this version for the racing theme against the penguin.
Great rendition, love that harmonica playing especially! I was surprised by how little attention this one has gotten 'cause has the same quality as many of the 1million+ videos of this kind out there. Your enthusiasm on camera is infectious. Definitely gotta subscribe and check out more of your stuff. Also, Banjo Kazooie reference at the end? :D
How'dy neighbor! Mighty fine to drop by today, i wander where mario hedin off today! I heard they save princesses from dragons, you imagine that pard'ner? Im starin to think he crazy pard'ner.
My favorite American folk song
I clicked on this thinking it was a 1mil+ viewed video because of the quality. Man was i surprised.
Thanks!! I don't know how to algorithm!
@@TJWatsonMusic that’s alright, it will recognize you one day.
Damn, here i am 3 months later, in the exact same spot as you.

This is well made, catchy and pleasant to listen

Well I think Koji had something to do with it too! I believe he said he was a fan of blugrass along with other types of music.
Banjos have little sustain, so it would sound good as an audio sample.
HOW does this only have 18,433 views?! We're watching the pinnacle of video game covers and there's only 18k views?!
This man needs to be globally known
I was expecting 5+ Million views because of the sheer quality and effort
I like how this is one of the most country music in the whole Mario saga and you nailed the look!
YOOO THIS IS SO UNDERRATED
This feels exactly like the variant of Slider that would play during an ostrich race of some kind.
Cross country races in the Midwest be like:

When heard this song, I imagine I am american people in Gold rush era (about 1840-1860s) and finding some gold on railway in cave.
Good music to listen to while running from your local cops... not that I would know of course. :D
I have nothing to say except this is really good

I still don't know why the gamemakers still keep using that music theme for any or every other Nintendo game.
