Lola liked it so much that she decided to keep it for decoration. Lolas super is created by ego magic (like emz super because emz is a "popular girl") and lola gets the magic because shes a "famous star" and full of herself. the ego magic corrupted the prop into a weapon. the end.

On my idea of the excess power points, is that If you have all your brawlers that you have is maxed out will be converted to either coins/star points/possibly gems

Both are already proven to work really well (both of my ideas are from a 2007 PC game called Team Fortress 2, in that game the modified Payload mode is simply called Payload (the equivalent to the BS Payload in that game is called Payload Race) and the modified Hot Zone is called Attack/Defend)

Like they could have a safe on a site kind of like heist except you can't damage the safe unless it's with the "bomb." Or they could have 2 safes and whoever plants the "bomb" first and defends it until it explodes wins. Or an entirely other idea is they could have some sort of capture the flag mode. I don't know if that would be very good for a 5v5 though because that could just as easily be done with a 3v3 mode.
I could think another thing to make his supper able to slow enamies when touch making it more likely to hit something but migth make gus op so make it like 2 second slow not like 5 seconds
