One significant rule missing from the teach is that when you travel, if you deliver a scroll card to the house of wisdom, you also move up one space on the research track of the scroll card's type (rulebook p.12, Travel - step #6). This is fairly impactful.
Its amazing that shem and SJ can design so many games with new mechanic, keeping their games fresh, and still keep the themes of thier previous game.

Right? And we still have Inventors and the East trilogy. I love how they take worker placement and twist it into something new.
One small item missing. During the rest action by a player, when they harvest Astronomy (blue), they may optionally re-roll any dice still in their hand. I had some confusion on the meaning of this that was cleared up on BGG, so I noticed it not mentioned in the video!

So far West Kingdom is my favourite saga, North Sea just arrived and we're getting to know it. Wayfarers was a pretty good start for the South saga and I'm eager to have Scholars

I (Stella) am planning to go again hopefully this year (I went last year). Hope to see you there, and if you see me running around, just STOP ME hahah. I've been told that I look busy and people dont stop me lol. Im always running around, but that's coz I'm so excited to be there!
Scholars is also the preferred type of player to play it.
I have a question: when there is the possibility of retiring a translator, do you only choose one on which you have placed your influence marker or can I choose any other translator ready to retire?
Translators retire automatically at the end of a turn when they have the required amount of gold on them.
