Wow, relaxed and groovy version of Snowflake! I remember this from the Way Back Home album. This feel really complements the strengths of both Steve and Joe, and as a trombone player, I appreciate how the more relaxed feel allows Nils to put out that big beautiful sound. Truly, truly, truly an improvement on an already great classic Crusaders tune.
@DCR2408 Hey ! ...1st song Ballad for Joe Louis from Southern Comfort........2nd It happens every day from Free as the wind ,both fantastic albums ...go and git em!
@Racerbob260 I'm french (Bordeaux) and Steve Gadd is well known in Europe as in the US... His drums loop on the Paul Simon's song "50 ways" during the Central Park concert of Simon & Garfunkel in 1981 made him be famous all over the world. He has been playing all kinds of music, even during the "Crossroad" concerts with Eric Clapton (guit), David Sanborn (Sax) and Marcus Miller (bass).
Sound is brilliant and music hilarious Joe!!! My what a drumsolo by Steve Gadd, its hard to understand, but he is still developing! Last tune is groovy!
@Racerbob260 Sorry for that mistake, Racerbob, as I knew that Joe is the kbds player and Steve plays dms !! Anyway, both of them are excellent musicians !
