50 shades of Char (Hlíðarvatn)

Armed with a five weight and a belly boat I venture out to one of my favorite lakes Lake Hlíðarvatn in Selvogur packful of healthy Arctic Char and known for its over sized inhabitants. I have yet to net one so I go out for 48 hours looking for my Moby Dick. Every year the lake produces Chars from 6-8 lbs.
I wound up netting over 50 Chars this trip while I scanned the lake looking for that monster Char.
