      @TheSquareOnes 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +66

      @@Smonsequenses It's vague, but vague in a way that the other side was right. "Share passwords" is met by sharing any passwords, it doesn't say "share all passwords." He was adding a word to the prompt which changed the scope, but as written it doesn't require sharing for everything.
      Or to put it another way both "share netflix" and "share banking" could fit under "share passwords," but "if you share netflix then you have to share banking" doesn't follow from that. Since NL was the one trying to interpret the universal case he was wrong in this context, even if his specific thing he didn't want to share could also be a type of password which could be shared.

      The whole debate is stupid. Obviously it could mean either - that's an inherent ambiguity in the English language, and neither meaning is really implied over the other. The only relevant question is which interpretation chat was more likely to gravitate towards, and the argument only started because Apollo is consistently unable to think in those terms - he constantly argues that chat or the other players are "wrong" for how they interpret things rather than accepting that subjectivity in communication is a simple fact of life that can easily be accounted for.
