Because they are managed by the majority Chinese. I have traveled to many Asia countries and frankly speaking. All the cities or countries if majority of the population are Chinese or Chinese descents, it is all very clean, tidy and safe even at night. Try visiting Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau and all the China cities you will know. Basically they are all the same.
Yes! Amazing country. So safe you can walk around at night. I can’t do this in my country with as much confidence for safety! These vids are great to watch. Well done Singapore for providing such a safe country for your people 👏
During my teenage years, we like to do night cycling as well, sometimes even through the CBD from ECP to Marina Barrage (the old way lol). Those were the best times late 2000's to early 2010's
The only danger I fear (on the road) at this time of the early morning - are speeding vehicles and so one musnt assume is very safe ...keep that in mind..
Interesting. Sometime I cycle before the daybreaks too. Singapore, a very safe place. We very seldom see homeless or trashes on the streets even at these hours. (Frankly Singapore is not that clean nowadays. Take a look a HDB estate!) I’ll made a video in Thailand BK at 3am too. I am pretty familiar with the streets in central BK. Not many people cycle in BK, I notice. Hmm…It will be very different. Many people, street’s vendors, pubs, clubs, vehicles, taxis, some tourists, etc still ply the streets at these hours here….and it’s quite safe here too.
Wow ... singapore looks soooo beautiful at night. Thanks for such an amazing video! it made my day as its really therapeutic. Make more such videos please (of 3am walks and bicycle rides) :D
Singapore is fantastic to ride around at this hour. No traffic, no stress, and no heat. I rode from Gardens by the Bay beginning at midnight, out the East Coast Parkway, looped around the back of Changi, 89.7 Supper Club, and back on city streets. I was amazed at how many riding groups I encountered doing the same thing.
I started the ride at midnight, stopped for an hour at 89.7 Changi Village for a meal (it's fun to see who's awake at that hour) and finished around 5 AM.
The streets are so quiet compared to during the day!!! LOL. Thasnks for sharing. We were there in early October and loved our stay. Want to go back again!!! LOL.
Alan. Have you try braven yourself riding at this hour on the notoriously spooky sites in Singapore? Somewhere on the North and Northeast of Singapore.
Haha no. Challenging part would be waking up that early to go there to film. I live near the city centre so its relatively easier for me to film around here
Happy to hear from you Daisy =) Been awhile since i stayed up late to do recording. Will definitely be cautious of my safety. The camera is mounted on my chest so easier for me to turn my head to check for blind spots
@@DiscoveryWalkingToursTV Wanna meet Xiao Yukiko, my favorite Singapore's Cosplayer. And also Rithe. And then Larissa, the great cosplayer from my country that will attend AFA too.
Awesome video Alan! Night cycling is the best because the streets are empty, the weather is cooling and the vibes just come out differently. I'm always amazed at how the DJI Pocket 2 captures night footage so exceptionally well for a pocket camera!
@@DiscoveryWalkingToursTV I'm so happy to know that it's the Pocket 3! It does look as good as many people are reviewing it to be. Amazing! Is it mounted on your bike, body or helmet?
@@DiscoveryWalkingToursTV I am just curious, would ppl not be staring or looking at you when during the walking tour/cycling tour with the camera on your chest or helmet?
It is amazing how people just walk around at 3am with no problem. Love Singapore. ❤ thank you for the video.
Glad you enjoyed it =) Yeah its nice to walk and cycle the streets of Singapore even during late hours

Please go to Anime Festival Asia again on 24-26 November. I'm from Indonesia and will attend AFA day 3 😃
Will do my best to find time for it. Any favourite cosplayer you looking to meet at AFA?

For this the camera is mounted on chest. Ideally it should be on my helmet. And never on your bicycle =P

@@vax3459 They would. I kinda got used being starred at. You have to be a thick skin when filming.
