- This is it… the final wave of Amber Island, and thus the final update to this remix…
So, the first Echoes of Eco event has begun, and I gotta say, the island skin is really pretty. They apparently used some stuff from one of their old games called “Greatfruit Grove,” and I think that was a pretty neat idea.
Viveine has arrived on Amber island and, apparently, Shugabush Island too, which I did not expect. On Amber Island, Viveine sound pretty good, kinda fills in a couple spots. Shugabush Island, nice addition to the beat, and I like how it goes “oh yeah.” I found that kinda funny, but back to Amber.
The plant quint, Gnarls, has at last sprouted(cuz it’s a plant). The design is pretty cool, and the sound,… A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!! Definitely one of the best monsters on the island, and the new final verse in the song, a lovely finisher. Wouldn’t y’all agree?
This island was quite the journey, but now the journey is over… and I might have some other plans…

This remix is special to me in a way, because my first ever remix was of the first wave of this song, and I’m really glad y’all have enjoyed each update of it.
This remix has been getting better and better an this update is amazing thank you these remixes are awesome

Yelmut's last note in lower pitch is a nice touch
I figured I’d have Yelmut have a bit of old and new sounds, as in making it sound even more like its continent sound, then its original Amber sound with a little extra at the end
When I say this is the most incredible version of Amber island I’ve ever heard, I mean it

Words cannot describe how amazed I was with what came with the first Echoes of Eco! Mainly, Gnarls sounds just heavenly and I absolutely love the new ending of the song!
Now we have the final version of this remix, and it's awesome!
This song has come such a long way since last year, I'm happy that it managed to end on a high note!

Positives;
Nice mixing of sounds
Every monster feels significant
Altered tracks sound nice
Duets of monsters like Bisonorus and Wynq are very nice
Negatives:
Could’ve used more Tuskski
Could’ve used a pitch change in the second half
Glad you like it. I want to make sure each monster get the justice they deserve.
As for the negatives, I couldn’t really think of anywhere else to put Tuskski, and I never really think to change the pitch of the song, just a few separate sounds to alter them; I typically like to leave the song as it is

Im serious, there were like 2 points where is was like "THERE'S MORE?!" Amber Island is my favorite song in MSM and you did SO much justice to it. It's perfect in my eyes.

@@Fwog-wj3ey Actually, I didn’t put periods between the letters. The word is in all caps though, and I put that for two reasons: one, cuz I think the song is fire, and two(the main reason), because the island is the home of the fire monsters, so it just fit.

Agreed. While there were some ups and downs with some of the monsters, I think it turned out great in the end
@@Furcorn_Nic Honestly the only problem Amber Island has is balancing.
The quints, the most anticipated monsters in the games existence, barely play. They only play once or maybe twice throughout the entire song. Not to mention some other monsters just sound off due to _reasons_
This island should've been made when DOF came out, to add more hype to both games. Along with having consistent vocal monsters.

Now this… this is how it should of been I don’t care how long it is as long as it has 3 main things 1. A good beat 2. Great transitions 3. Great matches with other instruments/vocals/monsters.

Glad you liked that. I wanted to keep the original end part in the mix, but I also wanted to extend the end, not just the middle. After a bit of finding the best way to do so, I figured the way I did it here was good, and I think it’s a pretty good transition

Edit: Man, I wish the game had a structure like the recording studio or time machine where you could mix the structure around, because then I could make my island sound like this.
Edit2: I guess I'll edit in some details I didn't see anyone else mention. I like how you made stogg play different notes, it basically gives the song a chord progression, and I must say that it sounds very good.
I’m glad you like the mix. Yeah, not every monster has been done justice in the original song, so I did my best to do so. That’s why Stogg has extra notes, so it could carry its part.
Finally after a year of buying, patients, zapping eggs, and saving Amber island had finally Reached It’s end
It has, and despite the ups and downs there were(the way some of the monsters are), I think the song turned out well

i love this! the only thing that bugs me is the yelmut, it sounds off in some parts
You should really find a way to make a mod that changes the amber island to this AND make the monsters sing corrctly according to the remix.. oh also make a smooth transition loop, (like making the druminary continue on during the last part)

It’s what I use to edit my videos, and since I record the visuals and compose the remixes on my phone, it’s just easier for me, and I just don’t want to get the subscription on kinemaster
Out of curiosity, how did you modify Yelmut’s track?
I edited the track in Bandlab, mostly pitch changes
I loved this but I think it went on for a bit too long
All I’m saying is 6:12 is the biggest fake out
I couldn’t think of another way to extend it that sounded better. Either way, I say it’s a pretty good transition to that extension
