These people have been paying too much attention to American politics. There's no such thing as a 'supermajority' in the UK and a government has the same powers available to them regardless of the size of the majority. The practical consequence of a Labour 'supermajority' is an even worse outcome for the Tories, which is well-deserved. Why would anyone want to vote to stop that?
