For the athame, the best is actually the Lexicon Blade dropped in the Tower of the Helephant which is basically a direct upgrade giving one more damage and a little bit more health. Also for the ring, you can get 2 more damage and a little bit more health from the Aureate Band also dropped in the Tower of the Helephant but you lose 6% power pip. I still wouldn't recommend farming for them because the stats aren't too much better and the dungeon is notoriously hard for the level and you can't trade them from your higher level wizards.

How come you don’t rock crown gear you know we can solo with farmable gear, it’s not needed for you to use this play/walkthrough. Best hat and alternatives is the same. If you want you can use waterworks that’s all I’ll say zigzag is worse, in terms of the stats.
2 less damage but you get 4 pierce which I think at this level isn’t really going to be used unless they shield, so I would still take the 2 damage over the 4 pierce. Definitely take advantage of being able to get the Mali wands while you can because once you finish celestia, you won’t be able to get them anymore unless you make another wizard
