I can't find words to describe this piece! I was just speechless. For me, you should include this work in your collection!!!!! at some point it will become an antique of great value !!!! 😮
WOW...Just Beautiful!!! However, I really like the way it looked before you moved it around...it had so much depth and beauty. Still, it turned out great! Just my 2 cents worth. Peace.
You did an awesome job..! I love it.! I also want to do a pour on my guitar. do I have to use a specific acrylic paint? I want to do a black base with gold, maybe white, and a copper color... perhaps if purple could work in it, I would add that... and can I use some kind of hard clear coat to protect it??
I swear I thought this was gonna be like all the 150 other pour channels but you did a killer job on that SG body,do you do this for money or just fun?and if you do it for cash what would you charge to do a guitar??
SO COOL! My boyfriend gave me his electric guitar to paint and I’m waiting to do a pour. What did you use to prep the guitar? And what did you seal it with?
Hello Sarah. Can I ask you a question? Years ago I painted a guitar with a technique that provided a similar effect (swirl paint) and seeing this casting technique I began to see if guitars were made, and yes, here is a test and the truth is that I think the result is beautiful. Well, the question is, since they are acrylic, do they allow polishing once dry with a machine and polishing discs? It is my doubt, since I know acrylics and I have worked with them, but on canvas and other techniques and I know (or I suppose) that the disc would burn them since they always retain a certain elasticity, I don't know if I explain myself well. Would it be inconvenient to polish? Is it better to apply a hardening resin or a varnish first? I say this in case I have to make a guitar. Thank you very much and congratulations for the work, it is undoubtedly one of the best I have seen (if not the best)
This is freaking sweet! I am definitely going to have to try out this colour combination! I LOVE it, and it is **chef's kiss** perfect for an electric guitar! 🎸 How close would you say that the Nickel Azo Gold is to a cadmium orange? It looks similar on my screen but it's not a colour I've seen before in person (the NA gold). If you added a tiny bit of white to the colours (not the black, gold or red) would it wash them out or help them retain their vibrancy after drying?
I'm very curious to know what technique was used to create the very first image in the intro to this video. My next build is going to be an Explorer body shape and it would look SIIIICK painted like that. I would LOVE to learn!(I customize EVERYTHING!)
How in the world did you get that foam rubber and clay out of the pickup cavities and holes? Also what was the point of pouring the back. You could have just painted it black.
@SarahMackArt oooow, I'm very excited to see the finished product! It looks CrAzY SWEET!!! Your technique is superb! Are you going to do the headstock matching? My last build was what I refer to as a 'Doorcaster'. It's a Telecaster shaped body but I made it look as if it was made from an old door, which I antiqued with Milk Paint with a crackle, electro-saline etched and/or copper plated the hardware. I even used Milk Paint on the neck and I'm VERY surprised how soft and smooth it feels when playing. I hope the reveal of your project also has your masterpiece being played!

What do you use to seal/varnish the guitar after it's cured?
Wow! one of the nicest pours ive seen! was wondering what the green tape is that sticks to the acrylic paint?
i have an old acoustic guitar ive been meaning to do this on.

Looks fantastic! What product are you using for clear coating the acrylic paint?
what did you put on as your base before the pour? looks awesome!
Oh!! I so wish I could go……have a wonderful time. And yes I wish you all. ENJOY❤
Thank you Josie!
Awesome 🥰😍. I got myself in trouble by forwarding it to my son who has numerous guitars. Now he wants one from me 🤣😂🤣.
Oh no! 😂😂😂
I am curios how the seam between the two pours looked, did they join together?
Interesting, I was asked to do this 5 years ago for a heavy metal guitarist.
How was the body prepared?
I swear I thought this was gonna be like all the 150 other pour channels but you did a killer job on that SG body,do you do this for money or just fun?and if you do it for cash what would you charge to do a guitar??

Where did you get the guitar bass
An employee below my studio makes them

Do they have a website or contact info?
How thick is the paint? And would you clear coat it? I’m looking to DIY my own guitar like this. It’s a fabulous technique.

Hello! So the guitar will be resined or varnished with a product suitable for the guitar. :)
Nice but, the final result?
That reminds me of journeys escape album
where is part 2?

Just told to my guitar… “you’re gonna get new clothes” 😂
😂😂🤣🤣

Wowwwwwwowiwiw
Where is the next video, is the guitar finished yet? I'm curious to see it as a Luthier.
It is not finished yet. The next is being hand crafted but I will for sure be posting the final results as soon as it is completed
