I did my first TP trade earlier this week (a Mutant Crown of Fresh Florals) and it was exhilarating! They definitely move slower than User Shops and you have to be on top of any Neomail messages but it's definitely a worthwhile part of the site to learn. Also, checked this morning and it's crazy to see Marble Draik Eggs be buyable now - Valentine Paint Brushes and Magical MSP Poogle Plushies are still UB, but I don't see that being the case for long...
Yay! Glad you braved the TP. I agree on how slow it can be, but hey, sometimes you need to sell (or buy!) those big ticket items. It'll be interesting to see where the Valentine PBs level out by March. O.O
I've only used the Trading Post once as a seller and was so intimidated, like am I doing this right? Neopets has such well-established ways to do certain things that it can be a little scary for a newbie (or player returning from a very long break, like me) to navigate. thanks for the video!
I've been eyeballing the trading post lately for a few PBs I wanna snag eventually so this real useful :) After not playing for so long it's funny to see baby PBs being used as a filler for neopoints but i guess it makes sense lol
I love how baby PBs became commandeered by the TP lol There have been some great deals on PBs in the TP floating around. Hope you can nab some fun ones!
Thank you for this video! I've also understood that people like the Baby PB economy because you can get it for cheaper than 600K, either with the aged account HT discount every month or with the RE you have right now. So it's a nice way to save a little when you're the buyer!
Yes -- definitely can get some cheaper than 600k which is always sweet (HT discount daaaay!) I think it's been a good tool for this era of the Neo-economy :)
nice video its my first time trading and it was really helpful :3 i think i didnt get something, if the gap for np is 2m and the items are gap to 10, how can i ask 15m for an item ? should ask for an equivalent even if i just want the np ? OwO
The actual NP cap is 2M, but it is commonly accepted that 10 baby paintbrushes are worth 6M (600k each), for a total value cap of 8M. Baby PBs are really easy to flip for cash of you stick em in your shop for 600k (or sometimes even 610k!) So a lot of people consider that as good as cash. Happy trading!! I hope that helps
