As Rust is a sandbox game wich means they are no rules on how to play the game. They are good at different things. Just feel A1dan has that "I'm a kill 5 ppl in 3 sec" edge sometimes :) At least I get more impressed by it watching :) He seems more consistent with surprising me in every video!

I think the vending machine could help with your complicated problem. You can offer the nicest deals and convert all that loot you (don't seem to need) into something practical or silly. Could first convert everything into vending machines then convert everything into snap traps/landmines/etc or just building materials. Seems funny. If you block drone access and put nice shiny things in them they will attract lots of players. You can also put your name on it to assure the deal is real. I really wonder how big a wooden base you could make. Or maybe a stone labyrinth full of loaded vending machines. They might also convince someone to raid you.
