Hi I have Max 7 and in the Beap stuff there is a drum sequencer and piano roll sequencer. I was wondering would it be hard to add a preset functionality so I can recall when I set up a sequence?
I just got Max 7.3 update. I am trying my non Pluggo VSTs and I can load them in the max patcher and I they work when I open the native window but when I try to trigger them with midi or any input they are non responsive.
It should be able to by sending the appropriate OSC messages to the DAW hosting the VST, possibly MIDI too. It will probably take a bit of setting up but Max is a programming environment as powerful as any; if it's possible to do with a computer then chances are you can do it in Max.
Thank you Darwin. This was exactly what I needed.
OMG happy days Pluggo how I missed you.
Was gutted when they stopped pluggo :(
I really loved Pluggo when I could run it on Windows.......now I can play with it again.
Ridiculously informative Good stuff buddy
I can't seem to get it to work when I try to add one of my non live vsts. Could you show us that?
wow i just discovered this! Awsome!
Thank you so much for this, sometimes it just takes someone showing you how to do something for it to 'click.
can i use this with a kslider and then output the sound into logic?

Can you do this if you only have a Max 7 license, and not a Max For Live one?
is there a proper tutorial on how set up max in cubase 10 on windows 10?

Is there a way to modulate parameters for VSTs that aren't hosted in Max?

I used the beap midi in instead of the keyboard snippet which I couldn't get to work.
this is the easy part, my Vst Plug ins arent showing up in the plug in manager
