The message could’ve been put in a better way, even if the man was rich or something any girl would still be scared. Also judging is human nature. We have been given this sense of judgment to protect ourselves. When we see similar people doing similar things we are obviously going to judge the next time we see anyone like that. She is right to be scared when she’s trapped with a man with a creepy smirk in such a small space. So many times women are shamed for not judging men correctly.

Way of Looking was weird , keeping suspense( there was time when he said “ ab hume koi nahi sun sakta “ , he could hv told her what was going on outside ), shouting at her “ you want to see what I hv ? Was totally animalistic . He behaved like proper rowdy . Helping someone without knowing how to behave with a scared soul , the blaming does not sound 100% perfect , specially when it comes to judgement about his personality , he is 100% sensitive . Girl was foolish , going to slums /unknown places alone in that attire , unaware of dress codes ?? Right title of film should hv been different .

And that situation was an uncomfortable one and any girl would be uncomfortable in the situation no matter how well dressed or groomed the man is. The fear that almost every single girl has when she steps out of the house is not unreasonable. It’s created out of the numerous times she would have gotten cat called or men following her or touching her without her consent like she is public property or just listening to the news. The girl had every right to be scared. The mans mannerisms where shifty and the way he yelled at her definitely creepy and sent the wrong message if he has spoke coherently and explained what he was doing like a normal person she probably wouldn’t have acted as she had instead the man yelled suggestive phrases which gave the wrong impression.

Its not exactly the man's appearance due to which the woman was scared. She was scared because he was a man! Imagine if the photographer was a guy and was locked up in the same place qith that man. He wpuldnt be scared at all. So ots not appearance. Its because the women aren't safe in this world, and they know this. That's what makes them scared. Imagine living with the fear of being raped anytime, all ypur life. Ypu would probably behave the same way. This fear stems from all the happenings around us. It is indeed our fault. We fail to make pur women feel secured.
But imagine if she was with a man who looked well groomed. Good clothes, nice shoes and a pair of expensive looking glasses. She wouldn't have been as scared from the beginning right. You see that from the moment she is in that room with that man, her thoughts are just negative about him. So maybe _it is_ the appearance.
I don't know of a woman who would be okay in that particular situation with a man she didn't know, no matter how expensive his shoes are. As far as all women are concerned, we are told not we cannot trust unknown men even policemen, because rape can happen at anyone's hands at any time.

It’s not completely her fault.. times have changed and you cannot trust anybody even if they seem like they r offering help at first, especially for a woman. The world has become a disgusting place and it’s hard to just cancel out the idea that somebody may hurt you if they get the chance especially in a situation like hers.

yes, u r right ...my wife actually use to hate guys before marriage (we had arrange marriage) now she loves me and strongly feels we should never judge men (by looking at other dirty men)! she still says the amount of hate she had for guys is stil less than amount of love she has not for me ..awwww

In many cases it causes misunderstanding
It happens mostly because women find unsafe everywhere and from everyone
This reminds me of the film "Chalo Dilli" starring Lara Dutta. This too portrayed a circumstance like this one.

You can show us the other side of reality but our brain tends to keep us safe & secure in every possible situation. The incidents happening around us have major impact on our experiences & thoughts which plays major role in how our brain will react in difficult / unsafe situations, specially about women. Because you hear lot of rape & harassment cases over time, how can someone think of trusting completely a stranger in that situation?
Answer to the last words spoken in this video "Why the world judges my appearance without knowing me" because trying to know you sounds more dangerous than not trusting you at first glance and always staying alert & safe from you because of too many unsafe incidents happening in the country with women.
If I would be in that place as a girl, I would definitely be scared. Because many people are opportunists and only few really take care about other women. We need to understand that if someone (specially a woman) is scared of you for the sake of her safety, its obvious and she must be very careful before trusting a stranger. Don't judge a girl if she is not trusting you too soon, because that makes her safer, which is how a human brain works. Just help her trust you slowly and gradually.

I am so amazed with the massage given by the film. We always judge people with their appearance.. No matter we know them or not.. No matter to what extent. Particularly the people from poor class face such behaviour and more alarmingly it is accepted by legal authorities

I don't find anything wrong with the girl's reaction. In these type of situations things have turned appalling for the girls.Maybe this time the man didn't have any cruel intention but who could say that any other man would not.
To be critical of the short film, the making was good but the massage is misleading.
Girls are vulnerable these times, they have to be very cautious to protect them & just can't take a chance for any exception of trusting a stranger.
So nice film ,it is showing us help will come from any corner and always doubting anything and everything is not good for our society !Thank you so much for the so meaningful film!

It's definitely good to be cautious but there's something to be said about having trust/faith/good intentions/good expectations ourselves. Fear may draw other negative things to us. Whereas with unflinching love and faith, we can change the intentions of the opposite person.

yes !! it can be judged with 99.9% accuracy . It needs practise . One simple principle - people who look alike behave alike i.e if you encounter a stranger who looks like some bad guy you are familiar with , be sure that he is bad too. No matter , how much wellthe stranger behaves but its his mask.
Though it might sound crazy but try it !! This has genetic logic that is too big to explain here
