Life for both of them came so quickly and left quickly. Fame came at a price and there was no turning back. I wish I would of seen his concert when I was a teenager and now he's gone. He is my favorite singer and I will always play his slow, romantic songs. His voice and his looks that no one could beat, he had it all and lost it all so quickly at such a young age. However, Elvis remains the greatest musician and entertainer of all time, but in all his songs, all the power of his soul comes out. One could also say that he gave his whole heart to his listeners. This way is definitely unique and I think it will remain so.

My parents took me to see him when I was very young. Even as a kid I could see there was something very special about him. When he walked out it was like you were witnessing something that your senses couldn't absorb. He was the coolest human being I've ever seen to this day. Loose, with the pure raw natural rythem of black people. It made girls cry and the hair on my arms stand up. It was obvious that he was influenced by the blues with humble beginnings yet he was larger than life and spoke to your soul. Listen to "Blue Moon" youll understand.

It's true that Elvis' behavior was questionable; the cheating, the fact that Priscilla was only 14 when they started dating, but still: his looks were not the issue until later on in life when his unhealthy lifestyle caught up to him...

She should have kept all those very personal details to herself. She has benefited enormously by being Elvis's wife for six years. I've often wondered why she's still publicly and almost obsessively linked to Elvis, even though she was only married to him for six years, was with another man for 22 years, and had a son by that man. It's weird that an ex continues to be so prominent. I've never heard that about any other exes. I think it's because Elvis was so huge, so loved, we all wondered who this girl was that he chose to marry, when almost every woman in the world, including me, wished it was me.
