Access ESP8266 Server over Internet from Anywhere - A complete A-Z IOT GUIDE

- This video explains all steps needed for an IOT project.For example a Server is started on port 350 of ESP Module & IOT setup is demonstrated .
The following steps are explained :
--Starting a server on a port of ESP module
-- Making the IP of ESP module STATIC , so that its IP is allotted the same always
-- PORT FORWARD settings under Router Configuration so that any access to port from external world is directed to the ESP Server port.
-- Windows Firewall setting to allow port 350 for communication.
-- Finally NO-IP configuration to make your Public IP STATIC

How did you set Putty to automatically add "

Thank you sir for your great explanation .. i have a problem right now after setting in DHCP List the new ip address of the ESP and its mac address when i put AT+CIFSR it got me the old ip address not the new one .... what is the solution now ?
This is very interesting topic.. but how to access my esp once I have completed the port forwarding.. you should make extended video for this and make some example with esp..

I did port forwarding and firewall settings, but still not connection from remote. Local connection is working with public IP.

Why do you need to allow inbound rule in your laptop firewall? From my understanding, the ESP is connected to your router, not through your laptop. Am I right? So, doesn't that means any request from the net will directly be forwarded to the ESP?
Do you understand why? I have the same question.
The process should be like: Outside world server-> router -> ESP8266.
Why is it related to firewall on computer?
Wait I think he is using his computer to talk with ESP8266 (Server). His computer is at the outside world and connect to ESP8266 at home. He needs to by pass the firewall to talk to ESP8266 i guess so.

you don't have to write a program just to get the IP address of your ESP8622 [just log in to your router and select DHCP clint or DHCP option and you will get the IP address and MAC of all the devices with is connect to your router]

The problem is my router webpage dont allow me to do port forwarding. There is no button to assign IP address and do any thing. Is there any other method? Using command prompt or? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HAHA! I solved the problem. My router web interface actually has 2 different user name and password! Need to key in the real one to get into the actual web interface! wahahhahaha
