From what I've heard, I'd guess it's not the looking up that adds velocity to the throw but the extra time you are holding it. Throwables have a "charge up" which increases velocity the longer you hold them back for. I have done this with explosive lanterns and if you hold them for like 5 seconds you properly launch those things!

its not that looking up and then throwing that makes it faster its the fact that charging up the throw makes it faster.
yep, although if you throw the knives from too far dmg dropoff will make it do 0 dmg
Yea you have to wait for the cross hair to tighten for a second so you can throw at full velocity. The bullseyes in base camp are really good for practice
When i did it looking up like made it charge up faster still works both ways tho

bros good i just think he suck at knowing the surronding not hating as im a new player and i suck too lmao like rn i was with my random teamate duo goblin cave i litterly forgot i had perks and i didnt think abt his teamate bro was invis and went for me and i was also struck with a zap and died then my teamate died i later and my first pvp encounter was a barb at the time that was my 2nd match and i was chasing his teamate but he came from behind hit me once and missed the rest of his shots i did half health b4 i died i think he died to the rupture ability idk i only got one kill in the game and it was a duo so i think i killed him or i killed a diff player and just forgot lol

The kris is a great chip weapon and a great full combo weapon to get easy stacks of poison to make em scared and keep fights where you have the upper hand.
it also makes throwing knives hurt that much more and they refresh the timer if they're running because they're bleeding to death

For the long sword the lower impact weapon the harder and shorter the time window to repost, essentially the rapier is extremely hard to repost

The looking up thing doesn't actually do anything. Its traveling further solely because you are holding the button down longer. Also the entire throwing weapon meta is garbage. I hope they remove throwing knives and axes from the game.
Removing classes only ranged option means you need to remove ranged entirely(which I'm not entirely opposed to).
Or you need to give them way more ways to deal with range. Gap closing, large innate projectile damage reduction, etc.
But I'd be more than happy just removing all ranged in the game. Youre right. It's pretty lame.

@@TheCosmicAstro- The problem right now and even for some time into the past is people just fill their inventories with knives and axes and throw them at each other for the entire fight never risking to actually go in. Its an extremely stupid meta.
Maybe we can give each class a small ranged ability on cooldown in addition to their current kits but not something that can be spammed infinitely.
This is really a symptom of a bigger core issue with the game right now which is movement speed. The entire meta if running around half naked so you can literally never be caught is a problem itself. The entire mechanic needs to be looked at again.
