And by mid season it's obvious that Dark is unlike any show out there. It's a behemoth of a story... Oh, swinging for the fence theorizing is definitely recommended. 😉

You tell it how far you are in the show (you should enter the last episode you have fully watched, not what you are currently watching) and it will provide information on the characters up to that point. Some people don't like it because they feel it gives things away by inference, but it is intended to be spoiler-free. The guide wasn't out when I first watched the show and I still kept up, so it's not a necessity, but I did write down all the character names when I was watching the first season. Personally, I found that because I was reading subtitles, I wasn't watching faces so much, and it took me a little longer to match names to faces than when I watch shows in my first language.

Dark is my all time favorite show (or let's say slightly behind Game of Thrones minus S8), so I'm always so stoked to see Dark reactions. And I'm glad that you're almost done because i wanna binge watch
I would've liked it if y'all watched Mr. Robot, which is my third-best TV show of all time, but I can't complain about this masterpiece. When you ask Netflix consumers which is the best Netflix-produced show, they always say ST, Umbrella Academy, Wednesday, Squid Games, etc, because they doesn’t have any filmmaking knowledge and have the worse taste, they always like the most overrated shows that have a lot of problems with the writing, the acting isn't that good, or they don't excel in any filmmaking aspect. Now Dark? It has some of the best cinematography in TV history; it's beautiful, the acting is great, and the casting directors deserve so much praise. When you continue watching it, you'll see why, I mean, the casting directors deserve so much credit because of how amazing they did with the cast. The story is one of the most complex, interesting, and fascinating. The characters, score, etc.-everything about it's incredible. You guys have to pay attention like never before with this show, not only because it's in a different language but because every single dialogue is so important, Dark is an easy 10/10; great choice. I hope you guys watch Mr. Robot eventually tho.

good choice to use subtitles. To be honest, the dubbing is awful. This is by far the best written, casted (!), acted TV series I've ever seen. And I've seen a lot 😀 The first 3 episodes are slow burners, remind a little bit of Stranger Things, but then it becomes a mind blowing ride. And at the end of season 3 you don't want it to be over. I watched it for the third time now.
@@ItzWilson2 did you do that? one of my pet peeves is that the VA for Ulrich cannot pronounce the name of his son Mikkel; over all the teens are alright but it seems the adults didn't get any directions for the dub at all
Every few months I check to see if a new reactor is watching Dark. After a couple of episodes I stop watching because they don’t give Dark the attention it needs. Going by this first episode, I think you might be reactors I stick with till the end.
Don't try to imitate a german sounding with nonexistent words. It sounds often like a Nordic accent and shouting it doesn't make it better. Correct would have been 'Ein Rohr verlegen' (to install a pipe) for 'piped down).

Stranger Things is incomparable to this MASTERPIECE. it is a bit like comparing Marvel sort of “Sci-fi” movies to Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar.
