God Bless you, your father was a great band leader and musician, I would see him at Soap Creek, and The Armadillo World Headquarters, and occasionally bump into him at Oat Willie's, just a wonderful person and musician, he could do it all, any kind of music, this was back in 1974 through 1980
Doug Sahm is my favorite dirty hippie. He, Freddie, Flaco, and Augie were the best band that ever was. I miss the Texas Tornados, but fortunately they left us with a playlist that gets better every day. ¡Andale!
Yo vivi en Texas tuve la suerte de conocer a la formación de la banda cuando empezaron con el fabuloso primer álbum en Español por los años 80 . Dough era un musico adelantado para su tiempo, en realidad todos los T. Tornados eran muy buenos
Great song by a great musician!Too soon, too young,so sad.I possess all the records anf i play them loud in thick smoke.Doug is in heaven, believe me,tnx for sharing this song.Koos from Amsterdam
The king groover. We produced a documentary on Doug Sahm called Sir Doug & The Genuine Texas Cosmic Groove.. It's coming back on Nov 6th in honor of Doug's birthday :)
Doug is sadly missed....Interviewed him several times (as far as possible...) and saw him many, many times 'Live' in Holland. Even ate 'Mexican' with him and band in Amsterdam!
I love this. Remember him on swedish tv broadcast when I was about 15. We taped it and listened many times. Love the footwork and his cool style. Me and my brother grew up on country music 🎵 and he started to play pedal steel guitar too.
Me gusta mucho su música su voz especial mente Mendocino y más dónde todos salen bailando creo qe acababa de sacar esa canción tan bonita y tan prendida ❤️❤️
Famous swedish studio musicians play with him: Thomas Haglund, Hasse Rosén, Lasse Wellander, Rutger Gunnarsson, Kjell Öhman, Roger Palm, Mats Rosén and Johnny Blomqvist. In the background Anders Engberg with string muscians.
he was my dad. i miss him so much. his oldesest daughter juju.

That's not Augie Myers! Kinda funny
You’re right! Seeing all these Swedish session players squeezing hot Tejano rock from sheet music is hilarious - pretty good, too!
Where was Augie? No, the real story! Lol
Doug is just used to kicking it over to Augie for a Vox solo.
A baby que paso
Vilka bra pogram tv hade då, nu är tv odyglig inte bra alls!!!!!!! besviken.
