Congrats on the new channel. In my 3rd month of retirement. Been watching learning and planning via youtube channels along with my advisor for 6 years and with great intensity for the last 3. I want to compliment you on the content of this video, it is informative, captivating and enjoyable. One thing than caused me to constantly pause was the very short duration of the data graphics, please leave them on screen a bit longer. Also when doing a comparison of data it easier to compare when the data elements are progressively added and remain long enough to see all the elements together. Interested to see more. Thank you.
Great idea Jonathan. I'd love to connect but don't feel comfortable talking in public - it's too easy to reverse engineer stuff these days. Any chance you have an email you could share for us to reach out to you directly? Either way, thanks for a solid video.
Hey - thanks for the kind words and happy to connect. You're welcome to contact my associate Ryan Chivington at 813-592-4040, or at ryan@farnamfinancial.com. He can also share my email with you! Talk soon
69 yo & retired. In retirement, cash flow is king. Your monthly cash flow needs to exceed your monthly burn rate. A paid off home sure helps out on your monthly cash flow requirement. Glad we purchase our primary residence in 2001 and had the mortgage paid off in 2010. Todays home prices make it difficult to gain traction and you risk being house poor.
That's a function of comparing your net worth (which you know and I don't) to the stats I showed in the video. If you let me know your net worth I'm happy to share where you rank!
@@FarnamFinancial sorry - was listening to you and not reading the graphics. That's a common thing, btw. Might be a good idea to say the numbers while they are displayed rather than saying "as you look at these numbers..."
Are people so clueless as to announce their assets openly here? This just tells the hacker that person has got money please hack and scam that person. People should be more careful!
The whole premise is BS. You aren’t as bad off as you think! See everyone else is worse off! Doesn’t change the fact that nobody except the top 5% can be comfortable in retirement.

That's great feedback, and I will incorporate that into future videos - thank you so much!

A lot of people still feel like they're behind, despite being at or above these averages.
Median net worth is around 300Kin this age group. Very big difference when you’re not including multi billionaires in the average.
My investments are not doing very well. One market crash and I'm toast
Are you using borrowed money in your portfolio?
Subbed
Thank you!
Better have a couple mill before leaving the work force is all I can say
44 net worth is -$250 thanks
You didn’t deliver on your opening promise. “Where do you rank”.

@ All good. I like that idea and I agree - thanks!

The only person to share their net worth mentioned a negative number. Maybe a scammer can take on their debts!
@@FarnamFinancial It would be better if you have an e-mail address, discord link or something that allows people to private message you.
