Ouch! Having your husband notice your eyes not appearing at their brightest due to this mascara speaks volumes. The moment I saw it swatched, it was far too red even for myself. I certainly hope that Chanel doesn't go with this formula in future. I love their mascaras and would be very disappointed if they changed them.💖
In this video, the mascara on your lashes looks very interesting and attractive. It matches your hair color. I think using this mascara on your brows very lightly will complement and unify the look.
I have almost all of this collection. I wear black mascara and tip with the red mascara. This looks good. I cannot imagine using the red mascara on its own/
Your eyes look beautiful using both of these palettes. I think these colors are so beautiful, they become the point of attention which is excellent for older ladies
I agree with you about adding the gold shade to the lighter palette. That would have made a stunning spring/summer palette! I’m not really a fan of red shades. This collection was kind of disappointing. It seems more fall vibes than spring/summer.
I absolutely love these color stories, could not decide on which I liked more so bought both for the warm and cool options each offers. I love having eye and cheek all in one pallet. I think the colors look great on you, my opinion!!
Agree with you. The color story looks nice on you but I think there are many more flattering palettes out there. For myself, anything pink, red or orange makes me look like I have an eye infection. Thanks for your frank review.
I had to break through the top layers of the blushes/ eye shadows in these pallets. Once I did, it’s pigmented for sure. And I love them both. They were beautifully as both eye shadow and blush on my fair, cool skin and blue eyes!
They are looking like blushes to me. Maybe their thinking is the monochrome look eyes and cheek ? They are huge. Wow 😮 ❤ for the blush brush I take it. The blanc maybe is more eye shadow 😊
Ugh, I’m bummed. The oversized quads were the first new makeup product I’ve been interested in since Christmas. You ended up with a beautiful look, but I don’t think either color story will work for me after seeing your review. Thank you for your time

I can definitely see the appeal of these, esp later in summer with more color on the skin, but not very Spring. I’ll pick them up and use in summer as they’ll be good for travel. I would agree that the shades aren’t as flattering on everyone and with the oversize, it’s overkill if you don’t love the color story. So disappointing that Chanel hasn’t improved the blush formula, but they are very slow to pivot. This Chanel makeup is a little lost after Lucia Pica. You’ll notice they don’t send these colors down the runway. I wonder if Cometes Collective will be any better next year.
So tempting, especially when they are "Limited Edition," but this video has finally convinced me the oversized palettes aren't for me. Initially I was tempted by the redder one, but I'm struck by you saying you probably would not use on the eyes. The same goes for me, especially because my eyes sometimes respond very negatively to red tones (I have the Eros eyeliner and rarely wear it because I experience such irritation). I have the oversized prior blush release, Les Chaines, but still have so much of it left that I can't imagine getting a huge blush palette. The gold shade calls me, but I think I'll spare my budget and wait for other anticipated releases. Thanks for the helpful content.

I appreciate your reviews. I think these palettes look nice on you. But, I also miss the old blush formula from Chanel. So, I’ll just use my ND Sunrise palette for pinks, and burgundy, and the Gold palette for golds, plus my hourglass blushes.
Great review! I wonder how the berry color in the Tendresse palette compares to last year’s Brun Rossi blush? They look very similar. Also, I wonder if the mascara can be used as a bottom lash line accent (along with a similar shade eyeshadow) similar to how the metallic terracotta (spring/summer 2021) mascara was worn.
agree. thought I do like the tendresse and I think it looks good on you as a palette and eyeshadow. TBC with Le Blanc, and Le Beige. No products have wowed me so far with any release so far for 2023.

Tried to test these at the Scottsdale AZ boutique today. Was told they have them but can’t show/sell until March. Weird that there’s inconsistent info out there from boutique to boutique.
I'm getting the Rouge Cuir nail color. I saw it swatched from the Bricknell boutique last night. Great color and it is new. I was seeing a lot of Rosewood shades in 2022, and they are so versatile. Having a warmer version, like this, is great. The palettes are a huge miss for me. Hourglass has done it better for years and I have those. I will, however, get the blush from the pastel group for Spring. No word on nail polishes for that collection. Thanks for the video!💚

“Multi palette” idea is great, but the shades they’ve chosen are not that great to use at the same time for eyes and cheeks. They could have tried something with pinks.

I wore my Mediterranean Quad and the Brun Roussi blush from last year's Summer release a few days back and was expecting something special this year, yet I'm afraid this isn't for me. I'm not a fan of these oversized products, nor the price. I didn't find anything special with either palette and have had enough red shades from last year. I loved the Brique Mascara from Dior but found this Chanel one looks far too bright. The liner in gold-rose would only be useful under the eyes or in the inner corner as a highlight, hardly worth it. I'll look forward to the next release instead.🇦🇺💖🕊

I have Tendress...and I love it! It's great for travel and it gives such a beautiful, soft St. Tropez look...will be perfect for summer!

I realize that I have way too much makeup to really like multi use makeup. Maybe if I ever go and become a minimalist...?

It so many pinks and reds everywhere. You look great, but I look sick in the red colors. My skin is not perfect so it enhances my red imperfections.
No one has perfect skin! I totally hear you about reds enhancing imperfections…that’s why I’m not drawn to them at all 😊
