Imho, while this is some pristine playing and songwriting, the mix is an absolute disgrace. The guitars should be turned up a good notch, you can't really make out all this intricate playing in this mix. Obscura isn't only fretlass bass imo.
Are you being sure to listen with good speakers and connection quality? Because as a fellow guitar player (not even close to his skill) I think this playthrough sounds so much more emotional than the studio version, guitar wise
I was able to distinguish between guitars, and bass ( bass was the easy part). I admit I had to watch it twice because his hair was so pretty!!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂
Don't worry, my studio monitors are equalized perfectly, I still think the guitars aren't as dominant as they should be, especially considering the fact this is a guitar playthrough so it's clear where the audial focus should be.

@@tylorcaruth Ehhh, it might just be a bad sync. No playthrough uses the camera audio and it definitely isn't shot and recorded in one take, so that part might've been synced with the wrong take. I don't mind fake playthroughs, music is not a meritocracy and playthrough videos are supposed to be educational, not impressive.
