Motor vlogers like you guys helped me and my wife get through a bad motorcycle accident 13 months ago. Bike totaled, three compound leg fractures, one fused ankle and 13 broken ribs. At 75 years old we took some time to heal and rehab but feel lucky the truck that hit us wasn’t going too fast. Watching yours and Bogan’s videos helped pass the time. One year later I’m finally back on two wheels, too stubborn to quit! Thanks for your fine entertainment during our recovery. Be well
Something that is always present is the possibility of being hit by someone who is not paying attention or in a hurry. Good that you were not injured to a point of being permanently disabled or maimed. No one likes seeing anyone being hurt on their motorcycle. Glad you are up beat and hope to see you ride again.
Mate, though I knew about this, it was emotional to watch. So glad you have both recovered for the most part and your dedication to finishing the video from the ambulance is admirable. 🙏
A terrible way to end your fantastic trip but the bright side is you are both still with us and you are mending. Sorry it had to happen. We have a great supportive community and I'm glad they showed you both some love xx
Man, I knew this video was coming, and it still gave me the chills. So sooo glad you all came out of this! For sure, you both had a lot of guardian angels out there looking out after you, both above, as well, as here on Earth. Kept you in my thoughts and prayers all of this time, and will continue to do so. Bob
Binge watching you guy's riding around NZ,and our local's giving way to let you pass,to enjoy your ride, then clicking onto this, and seeing you guy's on the road like this wasn't nice to see,Glad you're both ok, watching your other trip video's now that youve finished in NZ Stay safe guy's, Cheers from across the ditch
The whole thing is just a nutty experience. I’m just glad you and the Elaine made it out alive. Tough days ahead but hope you two will ride again soon. Lots of love from us here in America to both of you.
What a bugger ! I am sorry to hear about the accident and sadly Elaine got the worst of it. Sending healing vibes your way. Speedy recovery ❤️🩹, Eddie
This was so hard to watch! It’s like watching close friends I never met get into something so bad. I am glad you two are coming along. All the best to my great friends in Australia!
Very well put together, a great timeline that covered everything, yet did not feel too long! Glad that you guys are ok, albeit you still have a lot of recovery left. ✌️
Saw this on IG man and have been dreading the day when it would all come out. Glad you are both recovering and it sounds like you might have a new toy coming soon. Prayers and Cheers to you all
Glad you to come out responsible un hurt. Hope you do more trips dont let this put you off. Its safer in the outback then in city riding... Takecare FTW
Nice presentation of this episode. Enough explained and filmed without being tacky. Loved watching the trip and getting real time updates on Facebook. Cheers Jase
I'm very sorry I didn't make the stream. This was very difficult for me to watch on many level. When you care about folks (even though you never met them) I struggle with seeing them in pain. Love you guys and just glad it wasn't worse. Speedy recover Elaine, as you are in my thoughts and prayers. If I can do anything to help either of you from afar, consider it done. All the best, Eric
Thanks mate but you’ve done more than enough, it was a tough one to edit but I’m glad we got it done, thanks once again for all your help, support and kind words we really appreciate it
Paul and Elaine thanks for sharing. This was hard to watch even though I knew it happened months ago and you are both ok. Can’t wait to see the new bike.
Really scary stuff when you're laying on that road trying not to move not knowing how things are. I've been dreading this episode. Roundabouts and drivers who shouldn't be driving are my two least favourite things about riding. Hope you're both 100% soon. All that aside, amazing series - you both made an incredible thread of footage and story, and I loved the enduring noodles!
Get well soon , when I returned to Wales in 2005 after 25 yrs in Qld , I couldn't believe how dangerous the roads had become, when I got the Fatboy in 2017 I was nearly collected 3 times on my first ride, all at roundabouts, its piss simple -- give way to the right, but they got it wrong. Hope you heal quickly & make the idiots pay., all the best 👌👍👍👍
Would have been really hard to create this video guys, so sorry your trip ended like this ….. Great compilation of events, heres to a speedy recovery, good friends and a new motorcycle!
OMG, I hope you guys are going to be ok. My biggest fear was watching I love and hate roundabouts just for this reason. Always the TH-camr documenting it all. I will be watching hoping you two are ok. Please update. I am thinking about you guys and sending you good thoughts. I hope Elaine heals tell her we are thinking about her wishing you all the best.
I’ve had close calls at the roundabout further down that road. Come around the round about and off the third exit when I hear a screech and see a bra king front bumper miss my left saddle bag and my leg by about 100mm. Most of the population around Port Stephens is ageing. Around there at times you take higher risks. Working on RAAF base Williamtown I’d often get airman under my command ringing in saying I’ll be late as I was in an accident or an accident has occurred and has blocked the road!
Ahhhh you two. This is such a crap thing to happen. I am not going to try to pad it. I'm pissed off that some old bat who shouldn't be driving did this. Bloody hell the system is too hard on us bikers, and allows these incompetent drivers on the road. Love you guys.
@@TheHarleyRoadshow I'm deeply resentful of the incompetence. I am beginning to lose patience with idiocy. I am seriously pissed off. Love you man. May this never happen to you and Elaine again.

should have a set of clip ons made to go onto your exhaust incase the water is too high and the chance of going into your motor

I just bought a pair of Indie Ridge boots with ankle protection. Broken ankle in 5 places has got to hurt a ton! Poor baby!
Yeah they’re a good boot, Elaine’s boots are pretty good but she was thrown about 3m into the air so it was never going to end well unfortunately

I'm so glad you guys are healing up. This vid was so hard to watch. Again, I'm so happy you two are well. Cheers
