Her parents are forcing her to move, but she really wants to stay SO I’m going to try and get an apartment for the two of us sometime next year. I’ve talked to her about it and she’s really happy. I’m sorry for writing so much 😂 I don’t know why I yeeted this in here, but it might be due to sleep deprivation 😬 I need to clean up my sleep schedule :P Update: I bought her a promise ring
I’m flying out to see her on the 13th, and she’ll fly out to see me on December 27th. There’s a program she wants to take that goes for… 2 years I believe, but her mom is adamant about her taking a different one (we don’t like her mom 🥲). I’m happy that she wants to take the program, but it also hurts that she’ll be away for a bit longer. I’m more than happy to wait, but I also don’t want her to be there for more than she has to, nor does she. The reason being, her mom is… abusive. Sometimes physically, and always mentally. Her mom calls her fat-she’s not in a position where she can say that, and if you were to see Katelyn (my gf), you would be super confused by this claim-says she can’t trust her to drive by herself, even though she’s an incredible driver (unbiased), argues with everyone constantly because she is obviously correct about everything and is all-knowing, and literally victimizes herself if anyone talks back to her, saying how they’re always making her look like the “bad guy”. She sent me a video from her room where I could hear her mom “arguing” with her dad (bless his soul) over a card game, and proceeded to say that he was making her look like an asshole. He was supposed to win, but she was, essentially, accusing him of being dumb and/or cheating. So yeah, not a great place to live. She’s very self-conscious with major depression and anxiety, but is afraid to get help-or even cry in front of people-because she’s scared of her mom. (Her mom actually caused her to almost get into an accident, and instead of apologizing for not listening when asked to lean back because she couldn’t see the mirror/out the window, her mom called her a bad driver). That’s not even the worst of her mom, but it would take some time to really figure out how to put them into words. I have ADHD, so words are hard sometimes lol. I’m very sorry for venting, but I’m constantly worried about her. She’s a strong individual, but it doesn’t make it any less worrying for me. I’m currently saving up money, but I also just realized that the cost of living is crazy expensive. A month’s paycheque is the equivalent to a month’s rent. I’m only an apprentice glazier right now, so I think I’ll start getting paid more if I can take jobs on my own lol

Hey, I don't know who needs to hear this, But I have a bit of life advice for those of you who are about to have your first kiss (or other experience.) A lot of people will tell you that you shouldn't do it before marriage. But it's not the marriage that matters. What matters is that you're both _certain_ of the decision. it's OK to be nervous, it's ok to say no and back out of it! but it needs to be your decision. There's a lot of people who get peer pressured into it, and it can often damage the experience. Many times in life, you'll need to take a step back and think about something. If you want the first kiss (or other experiences) to be special, you need to make it special. Your heart might tell you "now's the right moment", it might tell you "They're the one i'm going to spend my life with." And, as much as I hate to say it, it's very rare that young love is actually true love. Be it young love out of your actual age (in which case, don't fuck unless you're over 18. Trust me, you're mentally not anywhere near the level required to make that decision, and it's straightup illegal. And you sure as fuck shouldn't try and make that decision on alcohol either.) or because the relationship is relatively new. This may not make a whole lot of sense at first, but true love requires you to _like_ the person first. You have to be capable of being friends with them before you can be capable of being a romantic partner for them. A relationship is more than that euphoric feeling you get around someone. You need to be comfortable in their presence. Someone that you're able to spend large amounts of time with. And of course, the other side of the coin, someone you're not totally an completely obsessed over. The best way I can explain it is "They don't complete you, and you don't complete them, but you are _more_ together than you are individually." A lot of people will try to tell you _how_ to love too. But that's between you and your partner and is different for everyone. I.e. I'd prefer a partner who starts giggling when I do something stupid/a little random, such as presenting a slice of cheese as a gift. Another person might turn their nose up at my cheese-offering, and that's the kind of person who won't get any cheese from me. It's the little moments, the tiny gestures, The act of being happy _around_ eachother, the act of being happy _with_ eachother, not _for_ eachother. That's what love is. And when you find that person, if you decide to search for that person, That's the one who, in my opinion, you should give your first kiss to. But only when the time is right, and only when you BOTH are willing. The single most important thing that I can never, ever stress enough, is No means No. Even if you feel a certain way, it has to be mutual. If they don't feel that way about you, then they weren't the one you've been looking for. Rejection isn't a bad thing. It might feel bad sometimes, but it's not a bad thing. Think of it more like walking through doors. One door may look pretty and lavish, but if it's locked, go find another door. Don't go through a window, don't pick the lock, and don't bring an axe to it. that'll just give you more trouble than it's worth. Life is a journey. We are born so we may experience it. And along the many roads we walk down, it's important to remember that others are walking down their own paths too. If you decide you want to walk your path with someone, please remember what you've read here. and if you decide you don't want a partner, that's ok too! And you're valid for your decision/being who you are!

so my boyfriend and i have been together for 2 months and we have come close to actual lip kissing once but didn’t kiss. other than that we have kissed each other on the cheek. i have never kissed anyone before so this is all kinda new to me.
i was wondering how would i know what the right time was and if i did want to ask him, what should i say and how should i say it? i feel that he would kiss me back, but how long should a first kiss be?

You’ll know when the right times is by your feelings and if you really want to make sure it all works out you can ask if he’s ready and plan for it to happen. I had a very similar experience and it all worked out for me and I hope it will work out for you too! Good luck

It is like this; you will feel madly wanting to kiss him. But I think you both want to kiss. That is the key. I think you might try to read his signs. Go close to him and if he doesn't go away that means that he is not scared. Hold his hand/hands. Then just kiss but slowly. 🙂
Don't over think it it will just happen. Keep it simple at first then you can move forward from there. And every relationship will be different. And you will like different things.
