    I know your wife might have been a bit peed off with you filming and talking all the time, but credit to your commitment. It was a great real time experience, felt i was right in there with you. Especially the zip cable activity. Enjoyed all the nooks and crannies of the ship too. Will make sure i ask for window seats when in the restaurants. Well done.

    Hi Kaz & Nige, have just finished watching your part 2 and found it very informative. We have just booked our first Caribbean cruise with P &O, on Arvia. Coincidentally, we live on the Isle of Wight!

    We fancied doing a second 14 day Caribbean cruise on Arvia in a balcony cabin on 1.4.24. At approximately £5600 for two, without drinks, plus extra charges to eat in several restaurants, not to mention worldwide insurance we decided it was too much. P&O really £penny pinch now and are spoiling the trust of their loyal customers. Heaven knows are cruise vloggers afford so many trips each year. I’d be fascinated to know.

      We tend to try and be very flexible with dates, also minimise the 'extras' if you want to save some money on the final cruise bill. We have found 14 night Caribbean cruises with P&O from £1,400 pp for a balcony. Looking at the dates you mentioned Arvia is back in the UK so maybe it was March you looked at?

      *£2,998 for a balcony cabin on Arvia for 2 weeks in the Caribbean currently, but you need to be available 16th Dec.

    For a few seconds the sound at the start in Tortola buffers, it does quickly settle. That's Nige's IT skills 😆

    True we going for 16 nights Caribbean to Southampton so no drinks package, don't think we can drink 1200 worth lol

    • @kazandnige
      @kazandnige  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It’s ok we guess on a short cruise but a lot of money (and alcohol) to consume in 16 nights! 🤭

    I like your point of view, you don’t try to chase flushy moments, you calmly stand firmly on your own and ponder aloud.
    In real life you're unbearably, but on TV I can put up with you.
    I laiked your adventure in Tortola, that's where the pirate treasure is supposed to be buried. For the rest, I regretted to go with you both, I didn’t like either the paratruperish trolleybus in Dominikano or the deafening airport in St.Marten.
    I can’t compete with you in a restaurant, I don’t have enough practice.

    Hi Nigel, regarding the sensation ferries to the Baths. Did you book the ferry as an "excursion " on their website ie so it includes a transfer to the baths ? Also did you go for the 8.30am from Tortola to the Virgin Gorda and a return time of 1.45pm. Hope you don`t mind me asking as I am trying to work out suitable times and what to book etc
    Thanks

      Hi Philip, yes book the excursion direct on Sensation Ferries website...and yes we did the 08:30 with the 1.45pm return. Gave us plenty of time.
      It's about a 15 minute flat walk from the cruise ship to the ferry. Would highly recommend it!!
      Pop in the restaurant at the top of the baths, great little swimming pool with amazing views.

    Loved the video x we go in Feb 24 on our first ever cruise. Was it easy to do your own trip to Vrigin Gorda?

    • @kazandnige
      @kazandnige  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you Cheryl! Have an amazing cruise.
      It is super easy to do Virgin Gorda independently. Either pre book online or on arrival in Tortola.
      When you dock just keep walking left as you get off for about 10 or 15 minutes.

    Love the commentary Nigel, makes me feel that I was with you on the cruise! Was availability using the App good to book shows/restaurants or did you have to book a couple of weeks before you left to get a place? I have heard people say that when they got on board they found shows etc fully booked out.

    • @kazandnige
      @kazandnige  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The 'app' was easy to use. All the shows had availability and generally you didn't need to book the main theatre. Only Epicurean and Sindhu had limited availability.

    Drinks package?

    • @kazandnige
      @kazandnige  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It varies so much, nice to have but very expensive and on a 2 week cruise it’s a lot of alcohol to consume.
