yeah it would likely be considered interest income in Canada, as you are basically loaning your crypto for an APR. Business income at the marginal rate.

I'm so excited about the profit taking model you are working on - it's looks amazing so far. One request I'd like to make is for how you would recommend reinvesting profits strategically as the price of Bitcoin takes major pull backs like 20 to 30%. Firstly, how do we determine if the dip is part of a longer trend. Secondly, how do we optimize as we invest going down. For eample, a 5% pull-back is ignored. A 10% pull back means we reinvest 5%. A 25% pullback means we reinvest 25%. We would do this because we want make sure we don't miss the dip. I know this is a lot but it seems useful to me.

Assuming they have loved ones they are responsible for: if they died tomorrow in a car accident, would their family be ok? If yes, then fine, but if not, well... I've known ppl in that situation, and it was not pretty. NFA of course.

Wouldn't you agree that any pump from the Eth ETF approval would be temporary and largely driven by unsophisticated investors who have not quite realized that Eth is dead? It's been dead since it switched to proof of stake. Proof of stake was what made it unique (like programmable goldish sort of) when compared with Solana. Now, it has no advantages.
Apparently Blackrock doesn’t need to immediately back their client’s investments with physical BTC. There is quite a lengthy grace period. Is this true and can this let them manipulate the price?
I think in the short term crypto will outperform stocks. I'm currently almost 100% in crypto and plan to take profits over the next 12-18 months, then rotate into stocks, Tesla in particular.

We pay income tax on any staking rewards over £1000 P/A in the UK. Under that you get to keep it all but you’ll pay CGT when you sell.
