It seems you have a good understanding about the wires. If you ever do this to another one of your guitars you should use a soldering gun. For me that is a lot easier than having everything already soldered together and having to work around things. You can pick up a soldering gun at a pretty good price. We don't need all the high-tech stuff just to get one that plugs in and work. There are plenty of videos that can teach you how to solder. Back in the late 70s I started learning about different opponents that you indifferent household items. We definitely did not have internet back then. When they're used to be a radio shack on I always one of their catalog. The people there help me pick out what I needed to begin soldering. The manager even show me how to start off doing it. He even gave me this thin paperback book on how to begin soldering. I most definitely gave you a big old and I made sure to hit the subscribe button. Look forward to watching from you.

Yeah I was never really happy with the lace sensors. IMO the Kinmans are brighter, more twangy, and have a livelier feel. Naturally there is some subjectivity involved.
@@jamessolstice I had some Lace pups on an old Fender 60's reissue and they sounded pretty good, but I do agree that they felt like they were "missing something." I'll have to look into Kinmans!
