As a "Stretfordian" you sum up Stretford pretty well. It has become an absolute shithole over the last few years with many shops in the mall closing. However, it is becoming pretty trendy. Give it a few years, and once the developments have been done, you'll be seeing Georgina and Tarquin in the newly renovated Robin Hood pub full of pretentious pricks who couldn't afford to live in Chorlton. Stretford needs about 15 pubs in the centre. Also, all the local residents need to be forced to go out drinking. Get some life back into the place again.

Souljuice is top, the Hive is always dead soon to close I reckon. Head has decent pool table and lots of weird ales and ciders.

I was there a few months ago & there was a bar at the entrance to the mall. Might have been behind the boards.
