Lord I surrender all. Come Holy Spirit move on my loved ones and bring them back to the fold. Thank you Lord Jesus for your grace and mercy which endures forever.🙏
Oh hallelujah! finally an understanding that is simple; a comprehensive full message on that controversial term "grace". Spurgeon has expanded that half definition so prominently often used : unmerited favor. Thank You Holy Spirit.
Does that mean we should just sit around and wait to see if God has chosen us? A just God does not punish people for His eternal choices; He consigns them to the consequences of their own choice.
@@flameofudun8447 If you want God to choose you, that is a good clue that he has *already* chosen you when you were dead in trespasses and sins (Ephesians 2:1, 4, 5) and made you alive unto Him, because only those who have been chosen, *want* to be chosen! If God has not *already* chosen you and made you alive unto Him-that is, *GIVING you the desire to want Him as Lord and Saviour* -you will *never want to be chosen!* A dead man cannot want God until God *quickens* (“quicken” means to make someone alive who was dead) A dead man *cannot* want God. @@flameofudun8447 Remember that YOU do not define what a just God is. The Bible does that. God gets to love whom He wants to and hate who he wants to. Romans 9:13 makes this crystal clear. “As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.” Romans 9:14-16 (KJV) 14 What shall *we say* then? [Is there] unrighteousness with God? God forbid. 15 For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. 16 So then [it is] not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.” Salvation is the gift of God. Don’t get it twisted, because salvation is not an entitlement. When Adam willingly sinned, he consigned everyone that was born after him to be a sinner. God told Adam not to eat. God warned Adam that he would surely die. Adam ate anyway. Is God now to blame? No! God showed mercy by coming to Adam and Eve and covering them will animal skins. He did not have to do that. He could have left them as dead, and He would have been 100% just and fair. He also showed mercy by kicking them out of the Garden, before they ate from the tree of life, which was a tree of Eternal life, and would have made them eternally in the state of sin that they were in. See Genesis 3:22-24 (KJV) 22 “And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live *for ever:* [permanently separated from God, and toiling forever under the curse] 23 Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. 24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.” God’s thoughts are higher than yours. You do not have the cognitive or moral ability to evaluate/judge a Holy, Holy, Holy God. Of course, you have free will to criticize and judge God, but it won’t get you anywhere. You need to ask yourself, “Do *I* want to be truly saved?” Then go from there.

It shouldn’t matter who is saying these words……..they are the truth if you’re actually living this way. That is how you find out if this is the truth. Only those who DO the will of my Father in Heaven will enter in. I came here not to do my own will but the will of him who sent me………. This is how we will get conformed into his image……..not by gaining spiritual knowledge…….Selah……that normally will make us into a hypocrite……or Pharisee…….God bless all who ponder and put into practice these words.
Hebrews 13: 5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. 6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. 7 Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation. 8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
The title of the “sermon” is questionable since it’s a quote from “Rumi’s Way.” I listened to the audio and most of it seemed okay but it still bothers me that it’s not a sermon from Spurgeon, no citing is literally listed for it (date/place it was delivered) and none of the questions in the comments are being answered.
Probably, it is being read because Charles spurgeon lived before microphones and video but he and others wrote down his sermons for us to enjoy long after his passing
Thank you father for seeking a sinner like me.

This is exactly what I needed to hear…thank You, Lord, for Grace and Your Patience 🙏🏽❤️🙏🏽

My Bible still says, "Whosoever will...."

Are there no humans left that can read the sermon
And it's not even his sermon it's AI generated
Didn't think so bc Spurgeon is from the 1800s and this isn't speech like those from that period
This was a very encouraging sermon, but I also can't find it online and an starting to wonder if it really is a spurgeon sermon?
Give the sermon title please
Can you please let us know which sermon this is? Thank you.
Yes, I echo that, thank you.
Can't find this in any of Spurgeons sermons
Hi, do you have the link to the original sermon? I am looking for more resources from C.H Spurgeon
id say ...NO lol
Your library should have some of his books, and bookstores, and Amazon.

It's an old written sermon from long ago
