Whitney will never change as long as her mother chooses to parent without discipline

Her mother was TERRIBLE
The mom was way worst than poor Whitney. I hope all the best for her.

Yep
Whitneys mom was out of line. She can not raise her child but disagrees with someone that can straighten Whitney out. Her mom is sending Whitney the message to do what she wants. Her mom really is infuriating but she's the one that will pay for it.
Yeah now I get why Whitney is this way

I feel like this family is the most sane and logical strict parents. Some things I could roll my eyes at. But the consequences, respect and responsibilities are amazing
I think the tennessee family episode is the best. They respected the kids and the kids were sad to leave them at the end. Just search “The Tennessee Family” It’s some aussie kids.

I feel so so sorry for whitney... it was SO SAD at the end when you could tell she understood what paul was saying and her mother was shutting all his criticism down... like hello!?!? Your daughter was on the show because you obviously dont know how to parent! This show should be the parents taking parenting classes, not the children, doesnt matter if the kids go to another persons house only to come back to the people who failed them in the first place...
Very well stated. Spot on

@helenlauer9545 lol I'm not gonna compare other's struggles with hers... this isn't a competition. I feel empathy and sympathy for Whitney. She deserves better.
The father did not disrespect Whitney’s parents by simply stating that they were confused! They absolutely were confused.
Lol, sounds about right!
100% correct
He didn’t! He’s right!
Exactly right! The reason she got so angry is because deep down she knows it’s true.
The proof is in the pudding too. Their confusion on how to properly parent is the reason the girl is on this show. And it’s not her fault
I can't imagine treating strangers this way after being invited into their home. That boy telling the dad "Get the Hell out of my room"😮 WOW
Right. I thought I was bad but I would never dream to say that in someone else's house. I must not be that bad
I mean, put in perspective your parents ship you some house across the world that you don’t wanna be at and there recording you
Whitney’s mom is disrespecting the couple by continually interrupting! Wow now I can see why Whitney didn’t have the opportunity to learn how to respect authority.
Amen to your statement
Whitney’s mom don’t got no manners so Whitney don’t got no manners

Young single parent etc etc. Not able to control her daughter.
funny how people don't see that the girl insulted Paul before he reacted that way

I love the dad’s ‘Cock-a-doodle-do’ alarm😂😂😂
😅😅😅😂😂😂😂 love it
why he pulled out for u
Yes but his attitude wasn't one that looked to de-escalate... All the contrary. Good long listening, patience, perseverance, resilience, respect & love. These are the things strict, but loving parents use to achieve real, long term positive results. Not aggressiveness and getting into kids' faces. They like to say they live by the Bible's teachings, but this dad forgot Ephesians 6:4, that says: "Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord."
And the way Steven said “ just get the hell out of here “ just got me. Seriously
I love it too it made me giggle lol
Let’s send our kids to someone else to fix them and when they come back we will still be the same parents that messed them up. Parents love blaming their kids for the way they are but it’s YOUR kid. You raised them that way
Finally some one that’s agree
Agree that most of the time, parents are to blame. However, it isn't true 100% of the time. Some parents have done what is right.
right like what parent would let there child disrespect there house ,as the kids are growing they see that there parents allow some stuff and so they grow up thinking i can talk say and act how ever i want to them they allow it
Same with horse training.
Saying "I'm sorry" and "I'm sorry your feelings got hurt" are two completely different things. One is not an apology
He didn’t need to apologize because he was right.
He said exactly what he meant. He shouldn't be sorry to her for anything, but if her feelings hadn't gotten hurt, she would understand how obnoxious she is. I bet you're one of those highly-offended, combative, overly-sensitive millennials who are always hurt by anything that's said to them but they can be as mean and inconsiderate as they please. Yeah, that's you.
@@EvanBlaze-fq5eg The 1st part of your comment is right. The 2nd part, whoa, nothing the original commenter said indicated that anything you accused them of is true, that's all purely speculative on your part.
I had to tell my ex that lol. She thought that was an actual apology I’m glad there are girls who know better
Because he wasn’t apologizing for being stern and handling her outburst
I think Whitney is more mature than her mother in this whole scenario. She's going to be able to keep those values and also learn to discipline her own kids one day. Although she might not want Nana to babysit 😂
This is literally poor parenting. Those kids were doomed from the start with the parents they have. You can obviously tell they didn’t discipline them at all.
Preach
Exactly. That's why LE has their hands full. The sense of entitlement and lack of respect is insane.
Whitney's mother is indeed confused. She sent her daughter away to be fixed by someone else's parents. Then when she comes to pick her responsibility up, she completely disregards the parental wisdom given to her.
That mother deserves that child. She’s a product of her environment!!!
And that's then on the streets with boys that are also gangsters. And end up pregnant and boys in jail and then wonder and cry why this is happening to them in life😂😂😂

Out of all the different difficult teen episodes I’ve seen, this one was surprising at the lack of teen parent’s acknowledgement that they were wrong in how they were parenting the troubled teens which lead to the situation where the teens needed guidance from total strangers. @@woke3568So true. 10 years or more.
this is literally the average southern family 💀
Those parents especially that Dad was on some kind of authority trip. This probably only worsen those two kids behaviors.
Probably will make them resent their parents too
They’ll understand that their aren’t in control… they can’t make the rules in this new home, obviously they’ll fight, but they should understand their role and position in their home
Are you fricking serious? Oh my goodness. People these days are so unbelievably confused beyond rescue.
@@daniellasugarhill5332 no they will never resent their parents they respect them.

This dad creeps me out.
Great opportunity for Whitney to start teaching her mother how to parent! You did great Whitney! 🙏🏽💞
Whitney's mother is the problem.
Paul had no business abusing Whitney's parents. How can Paul look at himself in the mirror and be proud of his abusive behaviour??
Agreed!!
Because he’s a narcissist who also likes being the “dictator” in his family. So most likely he won’t ever think what he’s done is abusive. Sad but true.
???
Why is everybody on paul butt Whitney was being disrespectful you don't enter someone's home that they allowed you to stay in and act like this both paul and his wife opened there home to these two selfish teens how many of you guys would've done what any of the parents in this entire serise have done . Whitney and Steven are 2 spoiled brats especially the former Whitney
@@jeffreyharnden7523 i totally agree
"What time is it?"
"9:30"
That's a whole lot better than some of these other families waking up at 0430, even later than 0800
Whitney's mom has such an attitude to disagree with Paul.
How could she insist on her parenting way while she apparently failed to raise Whitney properly.
