Hi guys! Thank you for watching our video. :) We have plans for more DIY photography related tutorials, but being in the middle of building a house makes it hard to make and film these videos. Once we get a free moment, we'll update with more fun builds. Thanks for your patience until then! Will and Mary
bro ever since i got a second camera its been so annoying to have to take one out of my bag and then put the other one in but this makes it ten times easier and its a good, cheap, quality harness. This helped me a lot
How is your experience on these hooks? All hooks i can find look cheap and not strong enough for holding a heavy lens. They are more likely for keys or something.
Thanks for watching our video! The hooks we use are really similar to this: amzn.to/2NEXttm They have worked great for our cameras. Our heaviest combo is a Canon 5D Mark IV and a 24-70 f/2.8 lens and it has no problems. Hopefully you'll be able to find something similar at your local hardware store! They are called Swivel Eye Bolt Snap Hooks. Let us know if you need any more help!
Luca Raimondo Thank you for your concern! Ive done quite a bit of testing on this joint and have not found that it is prone to tearing or weakening. The inherent nature of the leather allows it to be flexible and tough. We have been using these straps for a few years and have never had any joint failure (unlike other versions of this strap). That being said, we are always open to suggestions!
I am going to start this project today. Thanks for the tutorial
Good luck!! Let us know how it turns out :)

So glad it helped you! It's definitely the most used thing in our kit. :) Thanks for watching and commenting!
Lol my reasoning wasn’t saving money. I just didn’t trust the quality I saw... easier to make my own
awesome tutorial! Thanks!!
Thank you! We hope you enjoy yours as much as we love ours! :)
Will and Mary thank you! I enjoyed so much that finally, I decided to make one. vivacephoto.pixieset.com/g/duoleathercamerastrap/
This looks awesome!!! I love that you added a little piece of leather in place of the rubber :)
Shouldn’t the buckles be on your lower back so that they don’t get in the way when you pull the camera up to your eye?
You definitely could, but it’s never been an issue for us! The camera doesn’t get caught by the buckle when we use it :)
Can you please name the tools N items used please..I know you mentioned it earlier but can you please mention it in the description box please
Everything is already in the description box!

They're called rivets.
You weakened the leather part where the camera will hang, don't think it's a good idea.
