still cant wrap my head around the relic concept .. I see how its done , But I cant understand why .. or why anyone would desire the fake worn look.. I wear out all my guitars the old fashioned way .. and I worked at Alembic for 40 years,,
picked up an Espada a couple years ago and love it. I was disappointed when they went away from the split coils and only offered humbuckers. The split coils are such great sounding and versatile pickups. On a different note, I will never understand paying to have a guitar dinged up. I don't mind if I bump or nick my guitar, but at least I know it was from use
@@armandosoto9439 Indeed! The mfds on the neck position in either Asat special / Asat Classic / Z3 are awesome as i have heard. It would be to fit an Epiphone wilshire in the future. Maybe the fallout neck p90 made by them would not be a bad ideia. Maybe im a genius... ahah kidding But yeah... Would love to have the sound without guitar modifications
Hey Dave, or anyone that knows; is the Espada body a bit wider than a Fallout body? I love the Fallout and am considering picking up an Espada but I'm a big dude that feels a little out of place with the Fallout because it is pretty small (a short scale version would be neat though... hint hint). The regular Espadas seem more rare than the H-H these days at the big online retailers. Maybe I'll have to order a custom shop or BTO if they are offered.
The Fallout guitar is a touch narrower than an Espada. Espada Dimensions are roughly the same as a Telecaster with some more rounded corners. The Fallout guitar is essentially the same body shape as the old SC-1, SC-2, and SC-3 models.
Great video, BUT - I had to stop watching when he was about to (IMHO destroy) relic the beautiful finish! Sorry, no purposely reliced guitars for me...
Beautiful guitar!
Really enjoyed seeing the build. Thanks for posting.
This I truly enjoyed. As of owner of two G&Ls it was a nice peek into why. CLF Research L•1000 and Tribute Series JB-2.
a fun watch and very fun soundtrack!
That is an amazing instrument. Nice job on the relicing.
Thanks! (I'm James, the Custom Shop Masterbuilder)
Beautiful workmanship. Really enjoyed watching. Thank you.
I can just imagine Leo's reaction!!

i can do without the (aging) never liked that, BUT G&L is my favorite. my next guitar would be a CLF s500.
I agree. It’s a new guitar. Why beat up it up.
Hey guys! i have a question... could i put any of your MFD pickups in a soapbar p90 socket? hmm Maybe the doheny ones? Thanks
I have a Doheny. They are look Jazzmaster size. It would be nice if they started making a P90 size.

going for one of the guitars i mentioned either way ahah. But it would be nice to play anything and BAAM! G&L neck sound
What a beautifully made guitar 😍 and great video, but why does a touring musician need fake aging 🤨
Wish I could afford one! Don’t need a relic though. I’m clumsy 😂

Safety first! Those machine operators need to wear their safety glasses...

Same here. Had to stop when the keys came out.
