kinda is, cause its meant for rich people 4k to them is nothing, like Jamie foxx was there, man has over 100 mil in his bank account, its just you, me, and many other people in the comments aren't the target audience
I'll never forget the time I got to fly on a private jet it's so amazing and unique experience and the fact that all you do is show up put your bags on the jet and get in a fly all within the same hour was amazing
I've only ever been on one first class flight (work paid) but I was more than happy with the lounge area for 1st class. I don't see the $4000 in value for this service for at most a couple hours before a flight. This makes sense if you are then getting on a private plane, and want exclusive service from start to finish maybe, but to then go hop on a United flight...I don't get it. To me it seems like getting a 5 star hotel and ordering McDonalds in.
People using this service are probably traveling private, either chartering or owning a plane and using it for all their domestic flights. But since almost all privates are not big enough to cross the Atlantic they still need to hop on a United flight when flying international.
Henry Henry chartering an international plane will cost you 150,000+. I stated united just cause of the previous comment. Still, Etihad or Emirates doesn’t offer you this service (it does, but just on your way back to the us, not on the way there) and still, UAE airlines do not offer direct flights to Europe, you would still have to catch a connecting flight in the UAE to reach your final destination, like London
If you were rich, you'd be better off just getting a private jet. Paying $4k per flight sounds awful. Not worth it. There are even some billionaires who fly coach or economy.
I'm someone who does not see the point of traveling first class don't think it's worth it BUT this 2 me is 1000% worth it. Seems very reasonably priced.
ya but its not meant for regular people, its meant for people with more money, bt not so much that they book a provate flight, they prob go here then to first class, and lax is so crowded anyone who can avoid it will
Actually, this isn't the first private, luxury terminal in America... because I happened to work at the place highlighted in this episode of LIfestyles of the Rich and Famous, back in the 80's - MGM Grand Airlines. The terminal was based in El Segundo, CA (Los Angeles County). I worked in the office, and I would watch all the most famous people getting dropped off at the red carpet going into the well appointed, luxury lounge to wait for their flights from LA to New York. That was the only destination, as New York and Los Angeles were where the entertainment business was at, back then, and also most of the wealth. The Trumps, The Jacksons, Paul Newman, Liz Taylor, stars from TV, movies, they were all there. The only restroom in the building was in the lounge, and one day I had to cut through there to get to the loo, and it was mind boggling, the group of people waiting for the next flight out. It was quite expensive, $3600 round trip, I believe, per person. The jets had fine china, brass fixtures, leather, fine linens, it was quite posh. It was really a surreal experience. I was offered a long term position, but turned it down. It would have been quite something, but I was from LA and to me, big names in Hollywood were just my neighbors, for the most part, and the back office politics made it miserable behind the scenes - bad management. Was fun, though, something to remember. th-cam.com/video/abeqtk-RnWE/w-d-xo.html

Since it's positioned in LA which is home to some of the most recognisable faces in the world, this does seem to make sense.
I’m surprised this showed up in my recommended. Was here for my spring break . We checked in. And boarded our flight to New York via American Airlines. The staff were soooo nice. But our suite had other stuff so I was a bit confused at first
Ive flown out of it before, suuuper nice! In suite 13 they have a mini backyard with a great view of the runway!
dude, this is not worth $4000
kinda is, cause its meant for rich people 4k to them is nothing, like Jamie foxx was there, man has over 100 mil in his bank account, its just you, me, and many other people in the comments aren't the target audience
Rashed Khoory it’s worth max 1.5k
When a boring ass actor makes $10 million for 14 days of work, this is a drop in the bucket to him...
I'll never forget the time I got to fly on a private jet it's so amazing and unique experience and the fact that all you do is show up put your bags on the jet and get in a fly all within the same hour was amazing
What if the plane goes down... then what happens, private death.
Stylet Kapps BRUH LMFAO THAT HAD ME WEAK
💀💀
LOVE YOU
IM WEAK
Gawdd... I would love to offer all that non existent money of mine to you😂😂😂😂
3:38 *honks at airplane
Get out of my way!
Lady: Checks in at stupidly expensive hotel room.
Also Lady: proceeds to fly on UNITED!?
*I don't see the complementary AirPods. This ain't for rich.*
Dude it's a rich person thing. There's a difference between only travelling in first class and being filthy rich
People using this service are probably traveling private, either chartering or owning a plane and using it for all their domestic flights. But since almost all privates are not big enough to cross the Atlantic they still need to hop on a United flight when flying international.
Big difference. Especially when traveling with a family, a private charter can start vacation on a more positive note.
@@fernandodvalles if you are that rich why fly United for an international flight. Emirates and Singapore are way better.
Did anybody else see the complimentary Trojan condoms in the bathroom? hahah nice! Mile high club here I come!
Moonwalker i sid
yessssssss
i knew im not the only one who spotted that...
Ha
2:47 I can't believe that they put condoms😂😂
Ok I’m glad I’m not the only one that was like HUH??? at this entire concept lol
LAX: Only here you can drive to your plane
GTA5: Am I a joke to you
😂😂😂
yeah, but in GTA you have to worry about getting shot, but in L.A. you.... actually nevermind
@@MelissaTimea99 it's the same thing here cuz none of us are rich enough to afford it
You guys drive? Pfff, I fly over there.
$4000 is my entire vacation budget :/
I pay 10% of that.
$4000 isnt much if it helps you save time and makes more comfortable
That actually would be ridiculously cheap...
if I was rich.
“private hotel room”
Wait... what?
Stupid and Overpriced service !! Because In the end, you will be flying in the same aircraft as the person who just paid $300 for his ticket !! Lol
ya but its not meant for regular people, its meant for people with more money, bt not so much that they book a provate flight, they prob go here then to first class, and lax is so crowded anyone who can avoid it will
@Vishnu Ramesh I can, my mom would never do it tho cause there is no need, but for people who can afford it and want to skip lines it's pretty cool
People using this service will be riding a total different class. Nothing close to your $300 ticket 🤦🏻♀️
Lmao your just poor
$4000 and you have to drive to the plane, that plane stays on the terminal for normal passenger. Lol
Aditya Partap Singh lmao
I guess money does buy happiness

Narrator and cameraman: We gonna pretend we did not see that
$4000 ? no thanks, my frequent flyer card can get me a free lounge at the airport with all of the amenities.
ONLY 7500.00 FOR ACCESS.... NOT BAD IF YOU'RE THE KIND OF LORI LOUGHLIN EMPTY SHALLOW CARCASS
JUAN CORDERO LMAO
Man: has 999,999 dollars
Sees it is only for millionaires
Man: sadness noise
BTS lmao i can just imagine J-hope drinking sprite
First sentence of the video "*Airports SUCK*" 🤣🤣
This is for fake rich people ... real rich people fly private. Besides these amenities aren't even that good. The food looks average and you can get sleeping bed suites if you have airline status in most international airports
Dont think most of thr riches are able to afford planes. Those are billionaires you're talking about.
@@darnit1944 you can charter planes...
Darren Atm Any wise person knows to never BUY a plane. You charter them.
Darren Atm ever heard of a private charter? Clearly not!
Rich people that buy private planes are dumbasses. Either that, are they are the filthy rich and can buy an island kind. You charter that shit, bro. Buying a plane requires hiring a team, pilots, a parking space for it, a private run way, and etc... You are better off investing that money and doubling to tripling the profits.
I mean business and first class lounges look nicer than this
This is how revolutions start.
Why? Whos being hurt? Are you jealous enough to kill someone over it? Or is your part just being indignant on others behalf?
@@davidgill3356 income equality and climate change are rising, and add to that all the ways by which a lack of money can set you back for years if not worse. Meanwhile huge amounts of resources are spent instead on saving rich people from being in a crowded place for a short period of time. You're right.. It's pretty difficult to see where this is going wrong. It's not an exception, it's a trend.
i5 4670k and no one is spending your money to open these lounges, you make it sound like somehow you have a stake in this.
i5 4670k and what resources are being spent? Is there going to be a hotel grade furniture or condom shortage because of this? Paying for this is a good thing.
The comments in this video is everything! I'm living for it 😂😂
did anyone else notice the box of condoms in the toiletries shelf
A millionares indulgence? Cheap candy
This proves that rich people live in a parallel universe
I rather not have a private suite because iS more fun using the elscalarors vending machine and especially Starbucks and gift shops
Alex Black
Just to let you know Starbucks suck, escalators are a city of germs, no one uses a vending machine and gift shops? Meh I don’t need gifts. I would rather be isolated as a billionaire rather than being sick
LAX people conveyors are the best. Remember opening scene from "Jackie Brown"?
Supremelol007 Not_telling_you lmao no one uses gift shops and vending machines. I wonder why that Nike Store at my Airport still operates after 8 years, and why the 3 vending machines at my school needs to be re-fill st the end of every single day. shit excuse. oh starbuck sucks? i wonder why they t still surviving with their current business model, and why escalators r used in every single malls around the world?
Not when you fly every week

I love airports! Love the hustle and bustle ,probably due to me being in my 20s.
But do they have a pool inside another pool?
😲Poolception😲
itaybron you mean like a deep sea brine pool? Sure why not
Girl:orders food ahead of time
Hotel:Food
Girl:OMG Food
That control room does NOT look like a NASA control room.
I would imagine something a little more "luxurious." Hell, the ambiance in the club rooms are better than this private terminal. Not worth the extra cash at all
And there are many ppl like me who have never even been to an airport before....
