Welcome to LOVEBITES 🤘🏼🐺🔥 Here some information about the band: LOVEBITES are around since 2016 and their first EP and album came out in 2017. At this point they have already released 4 albums, some Singles/EPs and also a bunch of live DVD/Blu-ray releases. Back in 2018/2019 LOVEBITES have already toured in Europe, including appearances at the major metal festivals as Wacken, Download, Bloodstock, Graspop. Dude, he lost me long before the solo. He pauses every time the slightest thought enters his head. And none of the comments are interesting at all. "Oh, they are really shredding. Oh, what a big crowd. look at the holes in the symbols" and dosn't know they are called symbols. And that was the first 10 seconds!

Thanks for checking out Lovebites. They have many more songs like this, you will want to check out all of them, and you will know why I laughed when you said "oh shit, another solo!". 🤘 Asami sings with a Japanese accent, it is difficult to understand for many, but I have gotten used to it and can understand better now, but it is still necessary for me to read the lyrics if I want to pay attention to them. In any case her singing is fantastic and I have grown to like it, in fact she is one of my favorite metal singers now.
You should check out their live version of Judgement Day. I think it’s good that you are sharing your honest opinion here, like about not preferring the singing as much (as of now), as many other reactors will simply fake their reactions to get more thumbs up and views. Personally, I don’t like the fake stuff. Anyway, glad you like the band, and you should check out more. They have a lot of good live videos.
It took me to 2 or 3 of their songs before getting used to Asami, the singer's voice, I would say because of my preconceived notion of what a metal/hard rock band's singer should sound like. And it took me longer afterwards to appreciate her voice in the band. So give it a little more time and it may grow on you. It's been 5 years since discovering this band, and they are still my favorite.
Princess Asami will show you the way. "in the Evening" by Led Zeppelin has been a favorite song of mine for 40+ years, and I still can't quote the lyrics. And I believe English is Robert Plant's native tongue. All this to say Asami impresses me immensely.

I appreciate your honesty. Too many reactors pretend to love every aspect of every song they ever listen to. Asami's vocals can take a little while to get used to. Initially I didn't really like her singing, but I've since grown to LOVE it. She has clean vocals with a lot of vibrato (like Bruce Dickinson), and she sings in English (which is difficult for native Japanese speakers because there are sounds in English that do not appear in the Japanese language). Her strong accent and imperfect enunciation can also take a little getting used to at first. If the lyrics are important to you, just google them and have them on the screen to follow along with as she sings. But in terms of musicianship, they are elite. They are easly as good (and arguably better) than Dream Theater and Symphony-X.
I saw Symphony X backing Dream theater in 2008! A great night! I put Lovebites on the same level as DT, especially when Mike Portnoy was drumming with them! Imagine putting Portnoy, Haruna and Senri together on a drum off, I am salivating at the prospect 🤤. 😎🤟

It is English with a Japanese accent - takes a bit of getting used to, but her tone and skill are amazing, so it is worth the effort. There are other songs by Lovebites where her words are clearer. The fast, thrashy songs, are tough to make out the words.

Dude, he lost me long before the solo. He pauses every time the slightest thought enters his head. And none of the comments are interesting at all. "Oh, they are really shredding. Oh, what a big crowd. look at the holes in the symbols" and dosn't know they are called symbols. And that was the first 10 seconds!

Asami sings with a Japanese accent, it is difficult to understand for many, but I have gotten used to it and can understand better now, but it is still necessary for me to read the lyrics if I want to pay attention to them. In any case her singing is fantastic and I have grown to like it, in fact she is one of my favorite metal singers now.
You should check out their live version of Judgement Day. I think it’s good that you are sharing your honest opinion here, like about not preferring the singing as much (as of now), as many other reactors will simply fake their reactions to get more thumbs up and views. Personally, I don’t like the fake stuff. Anyway, glad you like the band, and you should check out more. They have a lot of good live videos.
It took me to 2 or 3 of their songs before getting used to Asami, the singer's voice, I would say because of my preconceived notion of what a metal/hard rock band's singer should sound like. And it took me longer afterwards to appreciate her voice in the band. So give it a little more time and it may grow on you. It's been 5 years since discovering this band, and they are still my favorite.
I really think you need to stop the video 10 more times in the first minute of the song. It would make it so much more enjoyable.
If you stop pausing so much maybe you can and will enjoy Asami one of the best singers in metal right now, but to each their own, 3:37 in and I'm gone

Princess Asami will show you the way. "in the Evening" by Led Zeppelin has been a favorite song of mine for 40+ years, and I still can't quote the lyrics. And I believe English is Robert Plant's native tongue. All this to say Asami impresses me immensely.

Best metal band to come along in decades. Thanks to Buckeye for suggesting them. There are more than 60 songs to check out, no duds, not even close. In their first five years of existence, they put themselves on par with the greatest bands of metal’s golden age. They recently went on a year-and-a half hiatus while they waited out the pandemic and searched for a new bassist. They announced the new bassist in October 2022 (see below) and dropped their first new song on December 22. Their new album, “Judgement Day”, was released two months later.
They did their first live performances in more than two years in summer of 2023, with their new bassist Fami. Their very first show was commemorated on the DVD “Knocking on Heaven’s Gate”. They have posted four performances from that DVD:

Cymbals with holes are more crashy. Not so much DING, but more SPLOSCH!
I appreciate your honesty. Too many reactors pretend to love every aspect of every song they ever listen to. Asami's vocals can take a little while to get used to. Initially I didn't really like her singing, but I've since grown to LOVE it. She has clean vocals with a lot of vibrato (like Bruce Dickinson), and she sings in English (which is difficult for native Japanese speakers because there are sounds in English that do not appear in the Japanese language). Her strong accent and imperfect enunciation can also take a little getting used to at first. If the lyrics are important to you, just google them and have them on the screen to follow along with as she sings. But in terms of musicianship, they are elite. They are easly as good (and arguably better) than Dream Theater and Symphony-X.
I saw Symphony X backing Dream theater in 2008! A great night! I put Lovebites on the same level as DT, especially when Mike Portnoy was drumming with them! Imagine putting Portnoy, Haruna and Senri together on a drum off, I am salivating at the prospect 🤤. 😎🤟
LOVEBITES. They are listened not only by metalheads. Ladies came out of their metal genre and have wider spectrum of fans.
They play Eclectic Metal. It means they blend as the first band in history all kind of metal mainly power and thrash with NWOBHM,
heavy metal, symphonic metal, speed metal,hair metal, hard rock, rock, rock'n'roll, jazz, progressive pieces, funk and even punk. They mix all with classical music using operatic, R&B, soul and gospel skills of vocalist and grand piano and Spanish guitar skills playing. Sometimes they use typical Japanese melodic lines which are included in ENKAs_ melancholy ballads singing by Japanese women. Only their can do it. Obviously they draw a lot from British, German and American metal. All this makes their style unique.

Drummer Haruna is relentless like a metronome, both Miho and Fami master their bass (for Fami's capabilities, you should visit "Alien Alien" from my list, it's in her TH-cam channel will almost 700K subscribers), the dual guitars M&M (for Midori and Miyako) is most certainly the best duo for trading guitar solos and harmonizing, and Asami's voice is stellar with big range, powerful belt and good vibrato. She is also a trained ballerina with exceptional stage presence. One reactor caller her "Stage General", which is perfectly put. Hard, tight, fast, relentless, effortless and clean, that's LOVEBITES. Your pausing the MV too much and saying nothing.
It is English with a Japanese accent - takes a bit of getting used to, but her tone and skill are amazing, so it is worth the effort. There are other songs by Lovebites where her words are clearer. The fast, thrashy songs, are tough to make out the words.
