It is impossible to express in a few lines the torrent of emotions that produces this performance of Yeol Eum Son, that for me, has already crowned the summit of the best. This performance exceeds by far the definition that Ravel gave his own work: "a fantastic and fatal whirlwind", and even the description with which the composer heads the score. Once more, I stand before one of those interpretations of Yeol Eum, for which I could come to hear her from the other end of the world. For me, Yeol Eum's symbiosis with the waltz is not only perfect, but creative until fascinating ends. And this work is not just a series of spectral waltzes, which Ravel composed passionately. It is an apotheosis. On this basis, Yeol Eum builds her own sound universe. She is in her element, and governs it as no one. The result is the ecstasy. I adore her!

@@ravenstrobe Yes, we are. Through different ears. And we have different tastes and different expectations. I am a great fan of Yeol Eum Son, however this is clearly not her repertoire.
I love Son but I agree that La Valse wasn't the performance of her. Too slow in some parts, not fluid enough but too Rushed in some parts with many mistakes

라 발스는 연주자에 따라 느낌이 많이 달라서 듣는재미가 있고 환상적이고 아름다운곡같아요~손열음님 연주도 행복하게 잘 듣고있어요! 머리부터 발끝까지 이쁘고 멋져요!!!
열음님 진짜 충격적으로 잘 치시네요...ㅠㅠ연주며 무대며 의상까지 모두 열음님을 잘 드러내주는 완벽한 무대인거같아요! 귀 호강하고 갑니다~

개인적인 취향으로는 투피아노 임윤찬 연주랑 손열음님 연주가 좋아하는 부분이 명확해서 좋아해요
특히 2분 30초쪽은 그 어떤 연주자보다도 제가 좋아하는 방식으로 연주하심...👍🥺
