    For all of you out there that have ridden motorcycles most of your life like my self, all I can tell you is the (small) E-bikes are an absolute blast, cruising around in all most silence, they doesn’t make people as mad, with modified power you can go just about anywhere you want , I’m sure there’s a lot of doubters out there, some of the trails these guys are riding are extremely steep very difficult rides, to take a full size motorcycle on some of these rides Would be miserable! The new forks and rear shock are a game changer, suspension before power, if you want to track ride most of the time stick with your motorcycle, if you want to go exploring on single tracks, it might surprise you how fun they are! Yes they cost to much, but it’s a great hobby! Great video guys!

    The main thing I would say is the biggest pro for this suspension is that when it is set up correctly you just kind of forget it is there. It is doing what it is supposed to be doing so you focus on the riding or other aspects of the bike. With different suspension I was always tinkering and thinking about it while riding like what can I do to make this better. The real eye opening experience like he says in the video is going back to riding different suspension.

    Gentlemen, thank you for these videos. They are outstanding. I’m close to buying a Talaria R and love the EXT suspension you have put front and rear on your bikes. I’m a little concerned about the 160+ lbs weight on the R. I see the Eride Pro S (yes, the S, not the SS) weighs in at 128. That 30 lb difference would be helpful for this 82-year-old body. Will the EXT suspension fit on the eRide Pro S? Thank you. Appreciate your that’s on this.

    Does Lances bike (you others as well?) have a thumb activated regen brake? How powerful can you make that? I currently have a Qulbix e-moto and I think my favorite feature of it is the thumb brake. I barely use my other brakes because it's so powerful, and the thought that I'm not wearing out my actual brakes makes doing crazy accelerations and quick stops so much more relaxing. I haven't ridden a Sur Ron or Talaria yet, but for me the thought of an automatic regen based on throttle control just doesn't sound like a good fit.

    • @Talariaboys
      @Talariaboys 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes we each have a thumb regen brake built in from upgrading to the ebmx x-9000 controller. The brake then gets a lot more powerful when paired with an aftermarket battery which doesn’t limit how much you can regen at once. We can easily lock up the back wheel and use it all the time!

    Fox 40 has 40mm stanchions where the EXT Ferro E-MX Fork has 36mm stanchions. Also the ext is $2000 and the fox factory 40 is cheaper and more readily available. Also DH bikes weight more than 30 pounds.

    • @Talariaboys
      @Talariaboys 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Not sure you watched the whole video or you would have gotten a lot more info why the Ferro is better than a fox 40… the 40 has aluminum stanctions… the Ferro has hardened cromoly steel, which even at 36mm is far far stronger. It also has duel sliding bushing which increase stiffness. You also don’t seem to understand the difference of making your bike 120 lbs heavier than a fork was designed for and that’s apparent when you try a fox 40 on a 165lb moto. DH forks are also valved and damped for downhill use… literally they are made for going downhill not up so all the angles change and those forks suck at up sorbing hits and bumps when going up hill. The Ferro feels amazing everywhere. Go buy a brand new fox 40 and the can cost upwards of $2000

      I have raced downhill and a Fox 40 is great but those purposes. I was running a Dorado on my Light Bee which was an improvement over stock but when I got the EXT Ferro that thing is beefy. Definitely heavier but stiffer. Yes Fox 40 is being launched at places like Rampage but you are not seeing behind the scenes where they are servicing the fork to handle that, plus they are setting them up stiff to handle the load where the EXT is feeling smooth

      coming from an mtb perspective, stanchion diameter is only a small part of fork stiffness. A lot of it is torsional, which is affected by axle strength and crown strength. The ferro has much thicker stanchion walls and as a result thicker stanchions. Not to mention, a fox 40 air spring and damper preform best when under ~150-200 lbs of sprung weight. On a surron, the sprung weight is gonna be ~250-300 lbs and at that point your fox 40 damper just won’t have good midstroke support unless you get an aftermarket damper from avalanche and by that point you’re better off with the ferro, since the damper is designed with those extra pounds in mind. Not to mention, because of how steep the Redbull rampage landings are, those 50 foot drops into near-vertical landings are actually putting less stress on the fork than a 10-20 foot near flat drop.

      The greatest bending moment on the fork occurs where the fork stanchion or leg meets the lower crown. On a right side up fork like the 40 the stanchion is taking all that force. On an inverted fork like the Ferro the leg is dealing with that force. That part on the Ferro is about 44mm diameter. Besides that there are multiple other factors that make it superior in strength and stiffness that have already been pointed out such as steel stanchion material and dynamic bushing design.

    Honestly I don't get the point in investing so much money in these bikes. You are likely way past Ultra Bee territory and right into Stark Varg.

      For me I'd rather sell my current bike and then upgrade to another then put upgrades into the current bike as you can get better performance for much cheaper. Like if you want really fast speed and power just go with a zero fx

      Had the exact same though, doing some napkin math their bikes would now cost the same amount as a stark varg 80hp model. Stark varg is going to have a huge list of benefits, would also fit them better as they are taller riders. Only downside I see would be weight, upgraded sting probably weights around the 180-200lb mark, so about 40-60lb more

    Not trying to be a jerk but you guys are hyping up the fork so much, it seems suspect. Every time I see a review on the Ferro (which I've been looking at for some time now) I find out the person doing the review got it for free, received a good discount or sell them.

      Not trying to over hype, this fork is amazing and if you spent 3k on suspension and it exceeded your expectations and actually genuinely improved your riding experience you’d be just as hyped as we are! Alex literally went home and ordered a full setup after that video. No regrets!
